Great performance and great value
The transformer is very small and light to be installed. Given the size, it is much easier to get it installed. Performance has been great so far, with flickering. Price is also very good, and the delivery is quick.

Very small
Very small units which is great for fitting through downlighting hole. Attached cables could be longer.

Satisfactory 12V LED spotlight driver
These mains A/C to 12V transformers are designed to drive LED spotlights of the MR16 type used typically for recessed ceiling lighting. And they do the job just fine.When replacing halogen MR16 spotlights with an LED equivalent you may find that the LED lamps flicker because the transformers for the much higher power halogen lamps are not suited to the low-power LED replacement. This product is what you need to replace the original transformers.Of course this does mean that you have to remove the complete spotlight fitting to get at, and replace the older transformer. This is relatively easy and there are YouTube videaos to help you through it, but it is a somewhat bigger job than just swapping bulbs.

Bad design, unusable.
The transformer is glued , you cannot open it without damaging it, the MR16 connector can’t be passed through base.

Ideal replacements for old halogen transformers when switching to LED's
Bought new LED's to replace halogen bulbs in kitchen. They flickered when using with the old halogen transformers, as people said they might, so bought these, just fitted them and everything working perfectly now.

Still working after 4 months no issues. Nice compact size.
I used these to convert an existing bathroom mirror's lighting which had some 12v AC halogen bulbs which were not only high wattage but also managed to get so hot to end up burning through the (luckily 12v side of old AC transformer) cables supplying them. These are tiny, much smaller than I'd imagined and was able to replace 1 rather large size AC transformer with 3 of these (1 for each bulb) in the same space. I replaced the old bulbs with some DiCUNO G4 LED 2watt's off of Amazon, which are working well. I did need to cut the connectors off to 'retro-fit' them to the fixed existing holders using connector blocks.
