Sharp Pieces, but Otherwise Perfect
Came with a TON!! My only concern was that the punched out centers had some sharp pieces still hanging on, definitely check before giving to kids.

Fake imitation ancient Chinese coins, looks good, thin, but ok for my needs
These are by no means thick or heavy or real. They are like play coins, or coins for crafting and they look pretty good. So they pass the appearance test. However, they are thin and light and you can easily cut through it or bend it or snap it if you'd like. So set your expectations right and use them accordingly. These are by no means valuable. These are great for the meaning behind them, and what they are suppose to symbolize. They're good as game coins. Or making crafts. We used them to as a craft activity for our Chinese School class, to make Feng Shui lucky coin charms (look them up online). We used them to make about 90 charms. They worked great for that purpose.Only caveat which is why it got a 4 star, is that manufacturing quality control could better. We know that this is mass produced in sheets and then the coins broken apart by bending after that because there are still little connection points that are a bit rough on a few of them. Or ones where the center metal wasn't punched out. Good thing about these coins are that the material is soft enough for me to punch the material or the hole out myself or smooth off anything sharp with just a pair of scissors. and some sanding paper. I ordered 2 bags of these coins. So out of all those coins, I'd say maybe 30 of them needed some refining. So that' 5% of the coins needed some work. . If I was going to keep these coins for my use, I wouldn't have gone through the trouble of smoothing them out. But since these coins were going to be handled by children, I decided to smooth them all out. It didn't take that long to do it though, maybe 15 mintues to smooth them all out. All in all, it's OK, but it does mean that you have to go through and look through them and smooth them out if necessary. Also, out of the 600 coins I ordered, I was missing about 6, so I only really got 594. Not sure how they bag them, do they actually count or is it done by weight. Good thing these are cheap and I'm not going to cry over 6 missing coins.

Great for Tokaido
You only need 50 coins for Tokyo so if a few are damaged it's no big deal. We only found one damaged coin. Since you can't buy the deluxe version of tokyo or the coins anymore this was perfect. It adds an authenticity to the game. My only complaint is that they aren't thicker.

many flawed but still pretty good
I put these in outgoing mailart. Many of them are flawed having extra brass either in the square hole in the center or sticking out from the edge. Sometimes I can remove this extra with an exacto blade but most often just discard them. STILL... a bargain! I Like 'em.

Giving away Abundance, Wealth, Health, & Good Luck!
I bought these coins to make them into a set of 3 to give away when we have guest in our home & we give them out as they leave thanking them for the gift of their presence & sending luck with them abundance, health, wealth, & protection with them throughout the fabrics of their life. I love the concept of gratitude & giving. I tied 1/2 of them with a red ribbon & the other half with a silver metallic ribbon in honor of my bday celebration this month. They are placed around the Goddess Lakshmi who is said to be the Goddess of great luck wealth, health, and fortune in the Hindu Tradition.
