THIS IS MY SECOND D.I.D. CHAIN & SPROCKET SET PURCHASE FROM AMAZON, THE 1ST I PURCHASED WAS IN 2021 AND INSTALLED ON MY 2009 SUZUKI V STROM WITH 45,000 MILES ON MY MOTORCYCLE. I HAVE TRAVELED ALL OVER SO. AMERICA FOR 2 YEAR AND NOW MY MOTORCYCLE HAS 67,000 MILES ON IT. THE CURRENT D.I.D. IOS IN PERFECT SHAPE PLENTY OF MORE MILE/LIFE LEFT !! I I LUBE EVERY 1000 MILES, CLEAN CHAIN & SPROCKET WITH KEROSINE EVERY 5000 MILES . GREAT PRODUCT, I BOUGHT THIS SET AND HAD IT SENT TO ME IN IN ARGENTINA FOR WHEN I DO HAVE TO REPLACE MY CURRENT DIDI SET, THAT WON'T BE FOR ANOTHER MANY MORE MILES, ALSO THERE IS NO D.I.D. Factory specs. No modifactions needed.
JT Sprockets and DID chain are both well made and work well together. Sprockets and Chain fit perfectly with modifications needed to the chain. Rivet style master link was included with the kit. Best price was found on Amazon with free shipping.

Such BS waste of time
So pissed off. This was suppose to fit a yamaha fz6 but it doesn't. Not I have to wait weeks for the return to come through before I can ride my bike or even go to work. This is BS. They left me hanging

Exact fit for my V-Strom 650.
Chain and sprockets fit perfectly. My first Xring, last two were Oring. Length was exact, so no trimming required.

No surprise
Everything fit perfectly. Absolutely no issues. Will eventually use D.I.D again. Be sure to use a good chain breaker. That will make all the difference.

Wrong size fromt sprocket for 2012 vstrom 650
The front sprocket that came with this "vstrom" kit does not actually fit the 2012 vstrom. It is to wide to allow the stock retaining clip to fit onto the splined shaft of the engine so you risk it coming loose with use. I would not recommend buying the kit. Use the JT sprockets website to find the actual correct fitting sprockets and order them separate.
