Probably the best way to start seeds
So easy to use--and effective. When you see the roots coming out of the sides, you know it's ready to transplant, and you transplant the Jiffy-Pot directly in the soil so there's no transplant shock. And it's cost-effective. Yup, buy these, or if you want to keep them in a Jiffy Pot longer, get the 50mm size.

Soaking pods
Very nice for seed starts

Good for the most part
So far haven't had any issues except some of the pellets aren't expanding like they should when they absorb water. But every seed i put in has terminated, so worth it.

Great for people without a green thumb
These are always one of my go to products when planting seeds. They work like magic. Just be sure to soak them fully first. I always make a few cuts in the bottom with an exacto knife for roots when I transplant seedlings. Pretty sure you don't need to it's just my preference.

Only Jiffy
I have been using Jiffy products since the 1960s. For the past couple of decades I'm embarrassed to say that due to lack of space I switched from starting seeds to buying young plants. Well not corn of course. I still scratch my head over the logic of buying one lone start of corn. This year I decided to watch the miracle of seeds sprouting again and worry about where to plant them later. The bonus is watching the Jiffy coins of peat expand. Thanks Jiffy for a good product through the years and the hours of cheap entertainment.

My seeds didn’t grow
I had read in other reviews that these pellets didn’t allow the seeds to grow, and that was true for about half my seeds. I was very disappointed. (Purchased a few years ago.)

Since I can't seem to find these in stores
Last year we ran into the problem of not being able to find these in stores unless you wanted to buy the whole greenhouse kit. I thought maybe it was due to the pandemic and everyone now wanting to garden. But didn't see them this year unless it was the greenhouse kit. So I just went ahead and ordered them. I'll probably just do the same next year. I like using these makes it easier to start your plants and gives you a nice base when you plant them outside. Would recommend them to everyone. You fill up a tray with some water and watch them grow and they are ready.

Seed starters
These are so easy to use to start my seeds. The roots go right through them as they grow, and they hold a lot of moisture. I put a bunch of them in a baking tray. They are easy to water. I just pour water into the pan, and they suck it up through the bottom. They will be much easier to transplant than the traditional plastic seed starters.
