Does exactly what they claim.
Been putting off buying this because of the cost, but, man what a difference. I hadade my own and it worked ok, but not as efficient as this. My old Harbor Freight collector pulls more dust and is quieter than ever. Easy to install, too, everything you need except for a container. Keeps your fine filter clean which keeps the air flowing better for longer.

This works with a wide range of horsepower that can be applied. Don’t cheap out on power
This is the gold standard for an extractor for people who care about cost

Support
The seller was very helpful in any concerns. Works very good, no dust getting past this cyclone. Have a 6inch line hooked up to it.

Inlets aren’t ready for hook up
Unfortunately I haven’t been able too use this item yet, but I’ll give you my 1st impressions. Well one thing I’m sure this will do a great job just as my small dust deputy on my shop vacuum which is absolutely great and has saved me a ton in vac bags.. But what I don’t understand is the outlet and inlet sizes, I got the 6” and no 6” hose fits it. The top port is 6-3/16” and the other is 6-1/8”...?? This is a bunch of BS if you ask me. Because it’s obvious that they want to make you by more fittings to use it. Just like everyone else in dust collection equipment, making a bunch of odd sizes in an effort to get you to buy the extremely expensive dust collection Specific plumbing.. so I’m frustrated to say the least. An even though they sell some of the reducers from Oneida here on amazon they don’t sell the actual adapter fittings for 6” here so I had to order them directly from Oneida for $40 for 2. And I have no idea when I’ll get them due to all this virus BS. It’s such a pain in the rear, because it’s pretty expensive however an whatever you use for plumbing the lines without having to run around trying too figure what works an fits without buying extra crap and spending time an money custom building fittings and what not..But I do know this cyclones work wonderfully just wish it wasn’t either super expensive for actual dust pipe and fittings or super frustrating making something else that’s a little cheaper work.

Works fine
For what it is, it's very over priced. For those wondering, I rated suction at a 1 because a cyclone doesn't have any suction. That job goes to Dust Collection System which you have it hooked up to. A cyclone will actually decrease the volume of air in order to separate the particles. That's what makes it work. Just make sure your horse power and CFM;s are matched up properly to make it effective. As for the collector, I think it's a bit thin in places. When I opened it the first thing I noticed was how weak the the base is. The support brackets for the mounting flange are minimal. They're also hollow instead of solid, which encourages air flow, poses leaks and makes for an odd mating surface rather than just a nice round surface to match up. I took the screws from the so called seal kit, put them in my parts drawers and threw the rest away since it's pretty much useless with an undersized misfitting piece of cheap foam. Bolts and a small tube of silicone would've been more realistic. The cyclone doesn't have any kind of mounting assist or anything, and it's certainly not strong enough to hold itself up. For as many modification as I had to do to help it work, it's over priced. I think the price has more to do with the demand, function and engineering of it. Not the quality of the build. There are other improvements I would make if it where me, but it's not. It came on time and not damaged. All in all, it did what it said it would, so that's great. It's just a lot of $'s for a hollow ABS cone that could've been built smarter. Less product here than a trash can at about 10 time the price. But it works. :-)

Does everything it is sold to do
Hardpipe system. Found no fault with this. Great price. Better info on pipe connection. Had to wait for adapters. Talk to oneida to make sure you have every thing you need for connecting. Very happy. Wife said should come in colors. Oh well

Awesome product, except the etched-on decals
Took a 1.5HP blower from an old 50-850 Delta dust collector, and mounted it in a frame of 2x4's. Paired this with a Wynn 13F230NANO filter. Whole thing takes up 16"x33" space, about half of the old dust collector (also has a fraction of the capacity, but I don't mind emptying it often). Ideally you'd get a blower with the opposite rotation, but according to Bill Pentz's website for these low-power blowers there isn't a whole lot of efficiency loss. It works amazingly well, especially if you keep to the 5" flexible hose and put the 4" -> 5" adapter at the machine side. To test it, I wore a black shirt and took a 1" dado cut on the table saw and couldn't see any dust at all on me.

Does a great job!
I had my doubts about whether this would perform as promised but it has proven to do a great job. I'm using it with a 3 hp Delta double tree dust collector that I have restricted to a single tree. Just a collection bag and pleated filter on the one side and this over installed over a trash bin on the input side. Virtually nothing travels thru to the clear collection bag as long a I dump the trash bin before it overfills. Very impressed with it. Pretty expensive for a plastic cyclone but it does do a great job.
