Good match and easy to use

Color matches,paint does not apply very well

Bought paint in May 2020 to fix a 1/4" x 3" scratch that went down to bare metal. Don't know how the scratch happened. The paint was difficult to apply and it didn't match my paint at all even though all the numbers matched from the VIN and color code in the trunk.First I tried to apply in warm temps and it was gloppy. I figured it was drying too fast. So then I tried it in cooler shade. Went on better. But the height of the paint was low, so after a day I applied another layer. But applying the second layer takes off the first layer. Sigh. So I cleaned it all up again and just put one layer down. Applied clear coat which didn't really flow the way I hoped it would. Figured paint on that is low is better than no paint.By Mar of 2021 the paint was completely gone.

Works very well. Color is a perfect match.

Not sure if got old stock but the paint itself was a good match for 19 Jetta platinum gray metallic. Clear coat, on the other hand, was way too thick and sticky to come out of tube to be applied correctly. So maybe it was drying up in the tube, which messed up my paint layer trying to apply pressure and wait for coat to come out, even after trying it on a cardboard prior to applying on paint.

Not a color match. Product fail.

Literally matched this to my paint number inside my trunk and it was not a match. Some boot leggin’ for sure. I still used it but for an area the size of a baseball and let me tell you this is really only meant for smaller dings. The pen application is so horrible I had to break open the paint pen, empty it into a container and use a fine painter’s brush. All this effort and it looks like a funky dark spot on my car. At least it’s better than bare metal.
