Such nice, smooth, and vivid colors to work with! I use themin coloring polymer clay projects
The media could not be loaded. These are so easy and fun to use! They are so smooth and shed of when you cut them like butter! I use the shavings powder to color polymer clay, and it works like a charm! They are a pretty generous, thick piece of pigment. Also, it's pretty inexpensive for the amount you get. They aren't easily breakable, but if you apply some force they might snap. The colors are gorgeous and come out to vivid! I am not sure if this is same to use to color cosmetics with, but i am again not sure. These are a real pleasure to work with!

Try them and you might just love them
Love the price of these for the quality! The colors are nice and work so well with water! I’ve used these on some of my projects and Blythe doll if I’m honest and love them. I would definitely take a shot at using these if you’re considering them

For artists and the likes
I used Mont Marte (MM) soft pastels to test on pictures beside Mungyo (M). I used my regular sketchpad paper/ no grit.Pros:-Mungyo is true to color; the shades and color applications are quite literally what they look like. Reds don't turn pink after blending.-Variety of colors are nice! And, the extra longer black is VERY pigmented-Price point is greatCons:-The size... it's a lot harder to work with. Better for detail not full picture.-It crumbles! Even for a pastel, it crumbles a lot.-Some shades after blending, the color can get lost (recommend using finger to blend).--package arrival condition: two of my colors were broken and the inside was quite dusty. However, it is soft pastels and I easily wiped off excess dust. All in all, I would still recommend for the price and unique shades.

Smooth and blends color easily
Really good at blending colors on a sketch book. It’s really easy to use and doesn’t break apart while using. I really enjoy these chalk pastels and I will definitely be purchasing them again soon.

Small, but pack a punch!
I can't say whether or not they are light fast, or age well, but for drawing school, they are an amazing cheap option! I mostly use the earthy tones and white/greys scale for my under drawings (very faint but you can see the pastels underneath). They are opaque, soft (not waxy), and blend very well. To address the size issues everyone else mentions, they are half pastels not full. I feel like it is an amazing quality and quantity for your money, so I don't understand why they complain lol

Teeny tiny vibrant colors
Well to be honest I was really shocked at how teeny tiny these are I'm a little disappointed in that I'm not sure if I'm going to keep them yet. The colors are vibrant I purchased them to do backgrounds on my color books especially my Johanna basford. I took a picture so you can see the size with a regular prismacolor pencil and then also with two coins. If you're not going to do a whole lot this is probably a really good value they are very soft they're very chalky and I mean when I open the box there was color everywhere. I'm going to have to test them out and see if they're worth me keeping, because I intend to use it for a lot of backgrounds I'm just not sure if the amount that was received is going to be enough for me. There's not enough of a piece there to break unless you drop them, I mean they're tiny

Excellent quality
Small pastels and good quality. I'm just beginning to try out pastels so this is perfect. The pad I ordered is awesome as well.
