F160 USB and WiFi 2.0 MP HD Endoscope, 16.4FT Large Focal Range Borescope Drain Camera for iPhone, Android Phone, PC, MacBook - 16.4FT Semi-Rigid with 8 Adjustable LED Lights

I wanted to use it with a Samsung A50 or my laptop. The laptop worked fine right away. The phone would not recognize it. Customer support was very helpful through multiple emails. There were two issues with the phone. First, on some phone you have to enable OTG. There are videos on how to do that. Basically go to settings->about phone-> then 7 taps on software information will enable developer mode. When you go back to settings developer mode will be at the bottom. In Developer mode chose to turn on USB debugging. Also if using USB-C, they have included a double USB connector. You have to flip half of the one connector down and then plug the USB-C part into that one. After all that everything works great. I like that it can focus at a much larger distance than many.

I received scope nicely packaged. The instructions were a bit vague and I tried to hook the scope to both my Mac and I phone with very poor results. I tried to call the company but could only email. They stated that they did not have phone service at this time but were working on it. I did get back a more detailed instruction sheet which I followed still not able to get the camera to work. I contacted them and told them the problem and they determined that the unit was defective. I received the replacement in a few days. I plugged in the scope and it worked flawlessly with both the Mac and I phone. I was pleased with the way the defective unit was taken care of. I believe it is well worth the cost and would recommend the scope to someone needing this type of product.

I have used this Borescope to see my roof gutters while using a pole blower. It works wonderful!I also used the borescope in a clogged pipe which accidently damaged the borescope.As it was under warrenty, the Customer Service replace my Borescope at no additional charge to me.Customer Service was awsome with keeping me informed!I would definitly reccomend this product to anyone.

On neither one of the resolutions settings it has will it provide a decent video quality. Also is only compatible with iPhone if you get an adapter or an external power source. Too many special adjustments to make it work. Not worth the money at all.

Really great camera! It has great picture quality, it is very bright. I had a clog in my main pipe and it caused flooding in my basement. We put that down there and found the problem immediately. We could see exactly what it was because of the amazing camera quality. I do wish it had different size rings to attach to the camera so it doesn't hit the wall of the pipe. We had to pull it out so many times to wipe it off. My husband used a DIY to help keep it from bumping the pipe and covering the camera.

I used it to scope inside a wall. Worked great, until it didn't.I used Moto phone the first time. When I tried it again. I used my Google 4a and tried my laptop. Neither could get a picture. The camera was getting power all lights were turning on but WiFi Look couldn't get a picture.I don't know what happened between the first few times I tried it and now.I made sure everything was connected correctly. I made sure all setting were set correctly. I just couldn't get it to go again.I would have liked to use it more than three times but the cost was worth what I used it for.Example: scoping inside the wall. I only needed to drill a small hole. If I wanted to see it without the camera I would have had to take a 1.5 foot by 2 foot section out of the wall.Small repair verse a bigger repair to wall. The 20 something dollars saved me a bunch of time in repairs.

Last year I bought a different endoscope camera (no longer available on Amazon) to monitor a bird nest box. This worked reasonably well except the fixed focus of 4 to 6 cm was a bit too short. This endoscope camera was advertised to have a range from 4 to 50 cm in the on-line description, as well as in the instruction manual. However, the focus is fixed and at low light levels only covers 4 to 6 cm. I contacted the supplier and they responded "Regarding the focal range you mentioned, our borescope is designed with a fixed focus, approximately between 4 to 6 cm. This means that the focus cannot be adjusted or changed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding." I returned the item as the light sensitivity was less than my original camera, probably because it had more (but smaller) pixels. This camera may work well for some purposes but not mine.

I bought this borescope camera for a tote rail hanging system I'm working on in my garage. I went to find the studs in my garage's ceilings only to find out we have metal studs in our garage ceiling construction. So I purchased this camera and could not have been more pleased. The setup was easy and it was then basically plug and play after that. I was able to confirm that I do infact have metal studs in the garage ceiling and now I am going to complete my project.This borescope is going to come in handy in so many other applications in our home projects!
