Lenovo Thinkpad T560 Laptop Intel Core i5 2.60 GHz 8GB Ram 512GB SSD Windows 10 Pro (Renewed), Black

May 1'23- bought Laptop in Dec'22. I researched many brands of refurbished 2014/15 business laptops and liked this one. I like the big screen, the lighted keys, the many plugin ports, how fast it works, etc. It has two batteries- an internal and removable battery. They seem to work a long time when charged. Batteries drain some when not used for long time. I go weeks when I don't use it. This is a powerful laptop so it isn't going run as long as newer slim ones if it's not connected to power, just on batteries. If I really want to make it run a long time I'd just need to replace the old batteries. It may seem a bit slow charging but that's because it's charging 2 batteries. I really like the charging cord rectangle connector to laptop! So many people have problems with their small round charging connectors! Bought it to take to friends' houses to research how to fix things I'm helping them with. It is big, sturdy and a bit heavy for some people but I knew that ordering it and like it. There was an issue of the Amazon ad title saying it had 1/2 the harddrive and RAM memory vs the actual details saying it had double the ad amount. Contacted seller- was great. I found the RAM and harddrive size that laptop was advertised to have in details, on Amazon, and seller immediately refunded me the cost of those! I've already replaced the RAM, doubling size it came with. Changing the harddrive to bigger new harddrive is a bit complicated so haven't done that yet. But I recommend this laptop and seller! The power supply was missing, but I called there support and they sent a new quickly free of charge.The laptop I received has 8GB of ram and 512MB of storage, but there is conflicting information on those specs between the title and the details of the listing. I was expecting 16GB based on the title of the listing when I places the order.The one problem I have noticed is that the letter 'Q' button is squishy and slow depress the button, but it works.Otherwise the appearance of the laptop is in new condition, the batteries are good, no blemishes anywhere, and the camera works.

just to be clear since amoz groups these reviews together. i got the thinkpad T560. it had issue. would not read the sd card. amoz tech could not help, amoz wrote to pc support with NO answer from them. went to lenovo website and from there "I", was able to fix my unit. im keeping now. it was brand new and can not replace for the price i got it for. amoz would not send out new unit would only refund me. so, be prepared, when getting refurbished units..

This laptop is a bit heavy but I don't consider that an issue at all. Performance wise I am very satisfied with any functionality that I use. Streaming is excellent with no lag (I don't stream with multiple windows open). The speed response is very good. Zoom calls are good. Facebook videos calls are good. Battery life is good so far. Audio quality and sound levels are quite good. Live TV using DISH ANYWHERE is flawless. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Absolutely love the computer!The warranty company is absolutely the worst I have ever dealt with.Had a problem from the get go, with my freshly refurbished by Plan-IT-ROI, that it said it needed updates, but could not load Lenovo, or Windows updates.Called the warranty companyPlan-IT-ROI, spoke to a gentleman who e-mailed me web sites to go to in order to try and figure it out!When that didn’t work, I called back and spoke to a woman. After explaining the issues to her, she never took control tried, or suggested anything. Her response was “Send it back”!After calling for a return #, I called Microsoft support since I am a 365 subscriber.They were compassionate to my needs, took control of my computer, then did what they could.They then stayed on the phone with me and talked me thru deleting windows, then reinstalling it!The Computer is PHENOMENAL !!Plan-IT-ROI on the other hand…..Is absolutely horrible!

I have have this computer just at 3 months and the keyboard has already stopped working.... waiting on amazon or the seller to "escalate this issue"....

I used a T450 Thinkpad when working and missed a good quality laptop after retirement. Ordered the refurbished T560 on Amazon and could not have been happier. Just as presented, arrived early. The refurbishment company uses a type of sticky back vinyl material to cover the top and touch pad to cover any wear or blemishes from previous use. The vinyl was applied slightly out of alignment so I contacted the seller and they immediately sent me replacement material and advised how to remove and reapply the covering. I removed the covering and yes there were wear marks on the touch pad and a couple of rub marked on the top but nothing that really required the covering. Removed all the vinyl lightly cleaned the surfaces and could not be happier with the laptop as is! Well done Amazon and TekRefurbs.
