Very Large
I love this Kitchenaid oven. So easy to understand, and it's much more accurate temperature than the it's replacing, but my old one is just that OLD. I have my other one for 7 or 8 years and it wasn't as large, it started struggling to cook and I'm happy we did a little research on the better ones out there and I agree, Kitchenaid is better brand and known for its longevity. I would Highly recommend it.

It Is A Kitchenaid
I have always been a fan of Kitchenaid appliances, my stand mixer is over 30 years old. This small oven does not disappoint. Very well designed and first impressions of cooking ability is very satisfying. I would recommend this product over the cheaper brands. This also arrived a week before estimated arrival date.

Oven that Toasts
I don't think "toaster/oven" is quite the right description. It's big - big enough to use as a second oven, but it still makes great toast. I can fit my largest casserole dish in it. No "toaster/oven" we've ever owned was able to cook as well as this one does. There are lots of things I like about it. It's quiet, easy to use, and it's super easy to clean the crumb tray - just open the door and pull it out. A light comes on when food is inside so you can keep an eye on what's happening. The kids said it was "like watching a cooking show". It's sleek looking and it's solidly made - a big upgrade from a standard "toaster/oven". It looks great with all my other KitchenAid appliances. The tray and racks are especially nice. They're made for actual cooking because it's an actual small oven. We reheated restaurant pizza and cooked frozen pizza on the rack and it cooked evenly. It preheats about as fast as expected. I baked 8 potatoes and it took the same amount of time as it does in my big, baby - the "Professional" KitchenAid gas/electric range. The controls are easy to use. The kids didn't need to read the manual to understand how to use it. The sides and back do get warm, but even at 400 degrees after one hour, I could still touch the sides without getting burned. I probably wouldn't touch the glass though. One thing to note is that the manual says to allow 4" clearances on the sides and back, so you can't shove it in a corner. That's the only negative I've found so far, and it's not a big deal for this kitchen layout, but may be for others. There is another brand that advertises cool sides, but apparently all the heat is sent out of the back which seems worse to me if you have to place it under an upper cabinet as I do.The bottom line is that this is exactly what we needed. A small second oven that saves energy, and still makes toast.

A versatile oven with great temperature probe
We use this oven to augment the built-in ovens in apartments and our motorhome. It's easy to use, and the temperature probe setting delivers perfectly cooked lamb roast, chicken breasts and even thin steaks. We've used it for oatmeal cookies, bread and proofing dough, in addition to meat. Highly recommended.

This toaster oven is awesome!
EDIT: Added photos that show where I placed my oven in my home - it's been totally fine here. There's about 5 inches of space on each side. Also show the evenness in toasting (there's a SLIGHT variation but again, every oven will have slight inconsistencies). Last, I show the probe with chicken which I LOVE!Okay, I had to write a review for this toaster oven after seeing other people complain unreasonably about it.This oven has been great! It comes with a ton of useful settings, it looks very high-end, it's very roomy, and it comes with a meat thermometer! I've seen some people complain about the oven for being "too hot" (LOL) - uh, yea, it's a compact oven! Of course it's gonna be hot! Also, read some gripes about uneven heating - guess what? Even the most expensive full-size kitchen ovens don't heat evenly. It's impossible to get completely even heating/toasting throughout because of how big the oven is. Smaller ovens will manage their heat better because of size alone. If you want even heating, use the convection feature, which this also has.My ONLY complaints are the following and are not deal breakers in the slightest:- When a cycle is complete, the timer and oven don't stop beeping until you open the oven door or hit "cancel"- I wish there was a bit more control when it came time to bake. Right now, if you set it to "convection" for instance, you set the temp, the time and hit "start". It'll pre-heat, but as SOON as it's done pre-heating, the timer starts with no regards to whether you put your food in or not.Overall, I highly recommend this oven. If I could rate it more accurately, I'd say 4.5/5, but I'm willing to round up because I've enjoyed it plenty. I came from an old black & decker oven that was doing the trick for us for many years, but it was time to upgrade and boy am I glad I did!
