Hunting Knife - Handmade Damascus Hunting Knife Full Tang - Work of Art

Ok first off i had a day from he double hockey sticks so i wont do a review video today but i will and post it here....That being said i paid full listing price for this knife so ther is ne benefit for me reviewing this blade.Ok first off this is hand made so expect some inperfections and its carbon steel which will rust is not cared for properly.Now the knife...... It is a solid peice of beautiful art and craftsmanship!!!!Its full damascus with ( my guess) atleast 50 folds of steel.No cracking with a tool steel punch tested hardened blade.The grind is not 100% centered but that does not effect the tested cuting profile and there is a slight inperfection in the convex grind at the hilt.....which again doesnt effect the use of this blade.Now the good points......it is proven shaving sharp and when tested there is no edge deflection when the edge is pressed to the side and impressive minamal side flex when put in a vise and loaded with 40 pounds.The spine is straight, handle is very dourable no cracking anywhere on the blade or handle.....by far a superior blade i would rely on for any situation.The sheath is double stitched leather and fits the knife well both verticle and horizontal.The knife fits snug with minamal play.All in all in my opinion this is a $200 knife for $69 which is a steal.And yes i tested this blade well and shaved with it out of the box.This issues i discribed are astecic only if you really look close but you will not notice them if you actually use this blade.But hey you have minor flaws with hand made its expected....but its well worth every penny and more.It says a lot when a center punch wont dent it with w 30 pound hit.I will be retiring me 22 year old buck and replacing it with a perkins blade plus trying out a folding knife from perkins compared to my $140 case xx i always carry and have fpr 5 years......make no mistake this knife is worth it!!!!!

Beautiful, sturdy, hefty and sharp Damascus blade at a very reasonable price... what's not to like? Very pleased with this knife... even the sheath is better than I had anticipated! Although I was originally hesitant to buy because of the (low) price, I would buy a Perkins knife again, without reservation.

The biggest positive about this knife is that the Damascus steel actually appears to be 100% real and the full tang forged and layered the way Damascus should be.. not just laser etched or stamped. The metal on this is very good, razor sharp, and a beautiful design. A couple negatives on the knife though, the leather sheath is ugly and does not appear to be leather.. just a fake rubbery leather. If the leather sheath was brown leather, and Real brown leather, then it would be a huge plus and far better. Please change this ugly fake black sheath. Another thing, the wood handle is too plain and simple looking.. it needs to be a darker wood. It looks like some plain Jane plywood was shaped and put an enamel hard coat over. Overall, this is a good knife.. it just seems like Perkin used all the money to produce it only on the metal itself, then they skipped out on the quality of the knife handle and sheath to the point it looks incomplete. In 100% honesty, if Perkin put a bone handle or anything that looks actually nice on this knife, I would pay full price for it and over the price.

Way more knife then most would ever need, the 10'' works much better for me around camp, I find the 8'' to be too short.Blade is perfectHandle is comfortable, a hard wood would have been better, but i will not complain based on the price of this knife

I am very picky about knives and knife quality. This knife it's nice. Comes very sharp and the quality is very good. Sheath is high quality. This is a nice to last generations.

Beautiful handmade damascus steel full tang knife, everything I was looking for. Unfortunately it arrived with a few chips in the blade edge and a dent in the back of the spine... Note from manufacturer said to contact them directly with any problems before leaving negative feedback and they would resolve within 24 hours. No response what so ever, disappointing... Took it upon my self to sharpen the chipped edge out, now it's great! Handle is a nice olivewood but leaves something to be desired.. Walnut or something darker would have been preferable. Sheath is nice, I like the option to wear it scout style. I do wish it had a locking strap though and was brown lol. Definitely worth the price, but dont expect it to be flawless...

The knife is very well made. The Damascus has beautiful detail and runs through the handle. The handle pins are mosaic pins . . not just solid brass . . nice pattern seen. I like the weight . . feels good in the hand. Sheath is nice . . though I'm adding a feral rod to the outside to make it a more complete camp knife. Very good price for this Perkins knife !!

Bought 2 of these, one for a coworker friend as a retirement gift and a my nephew for a birthday gift. They both loved it and were wowed by the Damascus patterns on the blades. Thinking about getting one myself to add to my ever growing knife collection. Under $80 for a knife like this is a good deal.
