Live in Colorado where dethatching the lawn in early Spring makes sense and this blade is great.
Works great hugely useful. Decided to get a jump on yard by de-thatching it before it starts to grow. Will probably do it again. Makes a fairly unpleasant chore easy and quick.

Works well. Springs easy to assemble. Adjust height on lawn mower before use.

Thatching blade
I was little concerned that the thatching spring fixed to the blade would malfunction. Fly out and and cause major damage. It worked fine, no problems however I wear heavy boots just in case. Follow the directions for installation!

Junk, sold me a product that has the wrong springs for blade.
Springs are wound backwards and point up when mounted on blade with the blade mounted on lawn mower shaft.Yes, the blade is oriented correctly, there is a stamp in metal that says top. If you reverse the blade and put top facing down the blade rubs the mower housing. Rip off

Great quality de-Thatcher
Really sorted out the thatch in my lawns - Need to elevate the blade by pushing down on the mower handle when stopping & turning or you get circles in the grass and travel at a fast walk when on staight runs. Really Pleased with the delivery time.
