Very nice knife
I bought for a specific purpose & this has performed well.Takes an edge very well, but I haven't had long enough to say how long it holds its sharpness.

The best knifes ever
I cannot even tell how much $ I spend it through the years to find sharp kitchen knifes. I came across this company when on vacation in Europe, and I purchased my first small knife from SMI to try it on. I have this knife for 7 years now and it is sharp as the the day I bought it. I was very pleased to find SMI knifes on Amazon, so I added few more larger ones to my kitchen.

I stumbled on this practical beauty by accident watching Scott Rea on YouTube. Small size covers big jobs and delicate work the same. Germanic quality, sharp edge, ergonmic sanitary handle for kitchen or field use. I processed a Chupacabras for jerkey and made a wallet. Great product!

Razer sharp, comfortable handle
Bought this one after I liked the 7" blade. This is upon first few uses. I'll update either of you in couple of months after I learn how the blade holds up and how does it easy is to sharpen on a whetstone
