Good scale, recommend to buy it.
It’s a good scale. Very nice that it goes down to about 5-6 mg, where it begins to register. Comes with 50 gram weight to calibrate the scale. Letters are easy to read. If I would make a suggestion it would be to have the calibration instructions as a sticker somewhere on the scale.

Accurate 50 gram scale!
So many precision scales under 500 grams on Amazon found this to be good choice for me under $20 . I use it for mixing epoxy resin 1:1 ratio for making fly lure head curing in 3 hours dries hard although I don’t really need .001 gram I can get away with just .01 grams. Highly recommend for paint mixing or resin epoxy.

Sometimes you get what you pay for.
Although a "jewelers" weigh scale, I bought this with weighing air gun pellets in mind, which are labeled in units of grains (7000 gr. = 1 lb. = 453.59 grams). Arrived on time and well packaged, everything where it should be-- except for the included AAA batteries, which were not included for some reason. I scrounged up a couple of AAA's and tested the scale using a Troemner calibrated trim mass set.All readings from 1g to 10g were accurate as long as the lid was closed. All other readings to 50g were variable--sometimes on the money but mostly read high, because the lid could not be closed to mitigate environmental factors. Perhaps if one had an enclosure like high-end mass comparators, the readings would be more stable. In the end I will be returning it to find a more suitable weigh scale--my fault for not researching more thoroughly.

PERFECT alternative to $$$$$ scales
Ok, so no, there is NO 'white' powder being measured, but all kinds of the 'Black' stuff.....Soooooo, you can go buy one from the usual sources and pay a fortune for it, or get one from the Bay that doesn't read the same way twice, or you can save a bunch of dough and get this really nifty scale.JARGON ALERT: for those who understand....My Dillon 1050 needs to be calibrated but once to set up a run depending on the nitrocellulose du jour. This scale read accurate RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. Comes with a calibration weight, so throughout the run, I flip in on, hit it with the calibration weight, pull a filled case, dump it in the handy little formed tray, (also included), it read consistently to .01 GRAINS (yes, it measured directly to grains), then I could return the powder to the case with the formed tray, adjust the 1050 if needed, and roll on.The purchase could be used to handload right from whats in the box. No conversion, no additional tools needed, instantly re calibrates, super precise, and at a REAL budget price.I'm delighted - its the 4th scale I've had - the FIRST one did the job out of the box at a price I thought was reasonable.

Exactly as described and expected. Great value for the price.
This scale came to me exactly as described, and as stated is precise to the milligram level. Repeated weighing of the same objects showed minor (~2mg) deviations in measured weights, but this is normal for a scale of this type. You'd be hard pressed to find a scale this portable and this inexpensive that was any more accurate. If extraordinary accuracy was required, you could always take multiple measurements and average the value anyways.Scale came with a small instruction booklet (in English and German), a dish for powders/loose materials, a small pair of plastic tweezers, a 50g calibration weight, and a hinged plastic cover. Instruction booklet was surprising easy to read considering the product's origin. Only minor errors were found in the instructions, and none of them were detrimental to my understanding of the product. My only complaint is that it didn't come with the two required AAA batteries, but that's really not a big deal. The fact that it uses AAA batteries is nice, since many scales of this size use harder to find coin cells. All in all, 5 stars. If you're looking for a compact scale that measures down to the milligram, look no further.

Nice precision scale for a very affordable price
This is the second one of these I've purchased, and I've been quite happy with them. The one thing I will note is that they have a tendency to like being at zero, meaning that they seem to round to zero a little too easily. So in my case I was trying to get several items down to exactly the same weight, so I got one the right weight and zeroed the scale so that I could see how far off the right weight I was. When it seemed like it was a little too easy to get them perfect, I checked the actual weights and found that they varied by a substantial amount, so that's my one issue, don't try having zero be your final weight, that also means you don't want to try and measure tiny amounts that would only weight a few thousandths of a gram without having an offset of some kind.Overall I'm quite happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone needing a high precision scale. (Also make sure the maximum weight is acceptable, this one is quite high for a scale that can measure down to .001 grams, but it's something to keep in mind.

Accurate only when used to weigh objects, not to detect small changes in weight on scale.
Here is my rough test.v1: I tare the included tray on the scale. Weight is added and the screen reads 00.000g till it jumps to .022g.v2: I tare the included tray on the scale. Take the tray off. Add the previously weighed powder to the tray. Set the tray on the scale and it reads .039g.I believe the method described in v2 is superior in terms of accuracy. I can add or subtract weight in small amounts and it reads accordingly. A pain to use, I wish they would tell you to use it this way. Nothing wrong with knowing the limitations of a product. It works, but they don't know enough about the product to advise you on it's use. It also doesn't cost $200 and I didn't have to build it myself. I'm not sure if this is a win or lose. 3 stars.
