No lags, no pesky data transfer freezes.
I've tried other cables, Compared to other Cat 8 cables, such as those from DbillionDa or UGREEN, but this one is great quality for the cost. Like other Cat 8 cables, it is backward compatible with previous Ethernet standards, allowing it to work seamlessly with older devices. Yes, the Dacrown Cat 8 is slightly more expensive than standard Ethernet cables, but its premium features and robust design make it a worthwhile investment for users seeking top-tier performance. It's worth the additional cost. I have NOT experienced and data transfer lags.

Strong, Durable, and Fast Ethernet Cable
I’m really impressed with this Cat 8 Ethernet Cable! I used it to route from my living room (where my modem is located) to my office in the back of the house, and it’s been perfect for the job. The cable is strong, durable, and feels very high-quality. The shielding ensures a reliable connection, even when running it in my attic and through walls. The speed is incredible 40Gbps and 2000Mhz really make a difference, especially for high-speed internet activities. The cable holds up well in different conditions, and I’ve had no issues with lag or dropouts. I use it for my router, this cable delivers excellent performance. Highly recommend it if you need a long, reliable, and fast connection!

The only way to get true internet speed
Did you know that the only way to get the true internet speed you are paying for, is to have your laptop/PC connected to your modem/router via Ethernet cable? I kept wondering why my speed was slow even though I was paying for 1 Gig of speed. My PC is located on the 2nd floor of my home and my router is on the first floor. Since I don’t have any children or pets to be concerned about, I got the long Ethernet cable and just ran it along the stairs and across the living room floor. Connecting via Ethernet made a huge difference, as I often keep several programs open at the same time.I had a flat cable before this one but over time it got very twisted. This cord is round, very durable high quality and heavy duty. As easy to plug in as an old school landline phone.Great value for the money.

Great cable. Recommend. Would be nice to have color options.
Overall, ethernet cable is a good investment for those who want a reliable, high-speed connection. They are well-made, durable, and future-proof, and they can significantly improve your internet speeds. The cables are available in a variety of lengths, so you can choose the one that is best for your needs. I purchased a 100ft cable.Cable was of high-quality materials and built to withstand heavy use. Almost compatible with a wide range of devices, including computers, routers, and gaming consoles. It can significantly improve your internet speeds, especially if you have a high-speed internet plan or you're using a Wi-Fi backhaul for your wifi mesh system. If you are looking for a reliable, high-speed ethernet cable, I recommend these cables. They are a good value for the price and will provide you with years of trouble-free use. Also, be aware not to bend them too sharply or yank them out of the wall as it may compromise signal integrity.Make sure to choose a cable that is the correct category for your needs. Cat5e cables are sufficient for most home networks(generally 1 gig upto few ft. For 25-50 ft, go for cat 6, 75-150 ft go for cat 8 and above 150ft you're better off using a fiber. Official numbers are different from practical use.), but if you have a high-speed internet plan, you may want to consider a Cat6(upto 10 gig) or Cat8 cable(upto 40gig).If you are going to use a long ethernet cable, you may need to use a signal booster(e.g switch) to ensure that the signal remains strong. However, I strongly recommend going the fiber route. Fiber optical cables are expensive and are of different kinds but will provide the best results.
