Q: How large are the capsules? Any bigger than MAP?

Unfortunately, these are not capsules. I have not taken MAP and therefore cannot make a comparison to that product, but these are big powdery tablets (the size of a large multivitamin or calcium tablet) . Hopefully the benefits will outweigh the inconvenience of me having to swallow five of them a day, but I just started taking them

Hi Anne, thank you for your question. There are no other ingredients in PerfectAmino, other than the amino acid blend itself. Not even fillers, additives, binders, or anything like that.

Q: How many grams of amino acids are in each capsule?

This is an amino acid formula based on the (MAP) Master Amino Acid Pattern® (U.S. Patent No. 5,132,113) a unique pattern of essential amino acids in a highly purified, free, crystalline form. The essential amino acids in such a composition are present in the following ratios: L-valine 1.0, L-arginine 1.77, L-isoleucine .91, L-lysine 1.03, L-phenylalanine 1.03, L-histidine .44, L-leucine 1.43, L-methionine .93, L-threonine .91, L-tryptophan .28. From What I can gather the formula contains approximately 2g leucine, 1.6g valine, 1.5g isoleucine, 1.4g lysine, 1.3g phenylalanine, .7g methionine, and .4g tryptophan per 10 tabs. According to the company, it contains no fat, sodium, sugar, yeast, gluten, soy, corn, wheat, milk products or preservatives. You can search for the patent and find out more specifics.

Great question Kevin. There is a lot of information out there about Amino Acids and making sense of it all without a guide to help you through it can be a challenge. My guide is Dr. Minkoff, and at BodyHealth we take a very straight-forward biological approach based on 20+ years of his hands-on clinical work. In our case study, we measured serum level amino acids in the subject when they were in a fasting-state before and after dosing PerfectAmino. We found that when we put the 8 Essential Amino Acids (PerfectAmino) into a person’s body, that all of the other essential amino acids were able to be created. For example, some info out there claims there are 9 or 10 EAAs (Histidine and Arginine are usually the 9th and 10th). Our case study found was that these two AA’s were absent prior PerfectAmino dosage, and had increases after the 8 EAAs were present. So, having the 8 EAAs is a necessary condition for your body to make all of the other Amino Acids and that’s why we state there are only 8 EAAs, because the biology shows us this.

Shorted!

Amazing product! The only issue, delivered on January 3rd. Took 5 per day, everyday and will be out on the 27th. It says serving size is 5 capsules once a day. It says 30 servings per container. After taking on the 27th I will be out. That’s 25 servings per container by my math, 5 servings short of what’s on the container.I purchased the 150 count container.
