I used one of these belts over seas and they are fantastic and darn near bullet proof. I would recommend going up 1 size from where you usually order your belts if you plan on running this through the buckle, for day to day wear you can get by with just the velcro, but clearly you would want to use the buckle if you anticipate using the eyelet on the belt for any type of rope work. The reason I recommend the size difference is that the belt is very rigid for the break in period and it can be hard to get through the eyelet if you usually wear a 32-44 belt and are at a 34 waist. just my two cents.

Heavy duty and well-made. I'm a little doubtful of how well the velcro will hold up, but we'll see. Beyond that, it is what I expect from Blackhawk, good quality and exactly what I was looking for.

It's a very well made product the only downside I see with that is I ordered the small and wish I got the medium. The reason being on the small belt the Velcro ends right in the first belt loop on every single pair of pants I have and makes it impossible to secure it's very difficult but can be done. So if you're a small you better order a medium I wish I did. Besides that it is a wonderful product well worth the money.

best belt there is... I purchased one of these 10 years ago.. still holding strong.. the velcro was wearing out so order another.. the new one I got was a couple inches longer.. but no problems with that at all.. these belt are awesome! definitely a very high quality and durable product...

Combine this with a strap or a personal retention lanyard and your good. Hundreds of times more comfortable than using a body harness and honestly to me makes more sense. These are made for a just in case emergency fall situation. Isn't that what the whole tree stand thing is? Fit is pretty accurate for sizing. I'm a 30-31" waist, got the medium incse im wearing extra clothes and it's about perfect.

This belt is awesome, I've got it on right now. I feel like I could probably pull a truck with it. I am a size 30-32 waist and bought the small. Thinking maybe I should have gotten the medium, other than that I like it alot. They advertise small fits up to 34" waist, and it probably does, but you are so close to the end of the belt the velcro is sort of a PITA.

Ok so two months into this belt and I can only think of good things to say about it. I was a little worried about the sizing but found it to fit pretty "true to size". The Velcro and stitching seem top notch and after wearing it for almost two months consecutively, it still looks and feels brand new. I would recommend this to anyone and will more than likely be buying another in another color.
