These were great for necklaces that are very hard to clasp due to the size of the clasp or due to the size of your fingers. The only concern is the magnetic portion is heavy enough that throughout the day you have to reposition it unless you want it to be seen or hanging at the bottom with the charm of the necklace. But other than that, they work great and they are easy to use.

I purchased the two pack of the rounded/barrel-shaped magnetic clasps with short chains to slightly extend the length. The product itself is very easy to use and does exactly as promised - the magnet makes it super easy to take my necklace on and off. I haven’t worn it for a very long time yet but it appears to be pretty sturdy. I’m glad I don’t have to worry about any of the children I work with yanking it and breaking it. The only issue is that the magnetic barrel is very heavy compared to the rest of my necklace, so it’s constantly sliding around to the front and I have to fix it and put it in the back. If you’re okay with having to do that all the time, these are worth it for sure!

These magnetic clasps make life so much better. It is a wonderful thing to not have to deal with the tiny claps on necklaces, braclets, and anklets. They do add a little length to the chain as well. The magnets are secure and I never worry about my jewelery falling off. I enjoy the flat profile more than the barrel shapped clasped. You should try them out. They make a thoughtful gift for anyone.

I love the screw part of the clasp. It definitely keeps my necklace safe. However, I've only had the clasp for about 2 months and I've been wearing my necklace everyday and noticed that the gold tone on the clasp has begun to wear off. I do not swim or shower with my necklace on. It is unfortunate that the gold tone has rubbed off so easily. I would have given 5 stars if they made the gold or brass tone plating more durable. I would totally buy this if they offered it in real solid gold! I'm willing to pay extra for real gold so that I don't have to worry about the gold tone rubbing off. I've seen a similar clasp in a real gold option elsewhere, however it doesn't have the twist/screw feature that I like.

Arthritis in my fingers makes tiny jewelry clasps nearly impossible to open and close. These magnetic clasps are a million times easier AND provide peace of mind that with the screw in locking system once the magnets find each other, I can't accidentally pull the necklace apart and lose it.Worth their weight in gold!
