1 year later and still happy
I have had this system for about a year now and no complaints it is still crisp clean clear, the night vision is decent, and sound is nice. the app works decent at times it lags to connect but the motion sensors work great they are even alittle to sensitive but you can pick sections it sees motion or turn off other spots. I am trying to see if i can add a speaker for 2 way sound but no luck so far. But yes i would recomend these to someone and would buy them again.

Top notch tech support
We purchased this system last year. It has been consistently great, and (more importantly) the tech support has been fantastic. The only issue is the time difference, which makes remote help either in the mid evening or early morning. The tech I worked with tonight, Demi, was able to fix an issue with the PC desktop app Guarding Vision in under ten minutes. The picture is pretty clear and sharp, night vision is acceptably good. I was able to help a neighbor with a video of a car accident, and the only other issue was not being able to play it on anything except their proprietary player. I then used a screen capture utility to make a universally compatible .mp4, even though the format said was .mp4 originally.Again, I highly recommend this - the difference is the quality of the tech support.

Great value for the price
First, when I received the system I checked the NVR and all 8 cameras. One camera was faulty. They sent me an entire new system and I returned the first one. No hassles. Perfect! I then had the system professionally installed and have had no issues other than getting the system working on my PC. Worked great on the monitor and our iphones. Easy to navigate, view cameras, good night vision, stellar motion detect, all that. But for the average "mere mortal", getting the system to work on the PC was a bit daunting. Tried but could not do it by myself. Enter Customer service rep "Nicole" on Chat. Its great to do business with folks that know how to do business! She was wonderfully patient with me, got on my PC remotely, lead me by the hand, and got everything working. I would have given the system 5 stars except for one thing. The system allows you to download portions of videos in mp4 format to a USB device. That's something I do on a semi-regular basis. Problem is I cannot import those mp4 files into my video editor(never a problem with other mp4 files). I found that if I convert them (mp4 to mp4) with my video converter, then I can import the results into my video editor. Its not a big issue but I should not have to do it.

Best system as easy as Ready Set GO, easy to install. Easy to set up 👍👍
Perfect. It is as easy as “Ready Set GO” cables came enough long and short , I ordered extra my own because of my previous experience but it is really good system you easy to install, easy to set up. You don’t need any IT knowledge to install very clear and good quality pictures, cheep and best 8 cameras with 6MP all you need is one screwdriver hammer and a ladder thats all I did not have to read manual or call customer support. App is awesome easy to understand. I am recommending to all my friends, family and community. 👍👍

The Jury is Still Out on This One
I'm going to give this device an average grade at the moment. There are many great features with it and the picture is good in both day and night. It takes some effort to get use to the software, but once you do, you can do the basic setup functions fairly well. As you get use to the software, you will have questions on some various functions that are hard if not impossible to find an answer to. The Annke Support FAQ page generally will guide you, but the lack of interaction with a live being is frustrating. I sent a question in and have yet to get a response. For those who set this up to get email alerts when motion is detected, be prepared to get approx 1000+ alerts in a given day. The emails include three snapshots of what the camera is seeing. Your results may vary depending on where you live as the software detects insects flying and poof, emails galore. Yes, I have set the sensitivity to its lowest setting, which is ridiculously high. The lowest you can set it to is 20. I have also set up the motion grid to reduce its motion alerts, that had a good result in that it reduced 2000 emails in a day to 1000 ish in a day. This alert feature is basically useless at this level of emails. Maybe they will work on the software to reduce the sensitivity of the motion. It will even pick up a moving tree blowing in the wind at a great distant. It just needs to be tweaked more to be useful to the user. Now for the most serious issue I am having with this unit. I have set up the recording of video to only record when motion is detected. (It is much better at only recording motion when larger objects are present, it doesn't record every fly that cruises by, but it still records a lot of useless movement) My biggest concern is that 5 times now the recording stops. I go into the software to look at the HDD and it is in "Abnormal" status. I can't find an answer to why this is happening. I did notice that many people in the Help pages have had Hard Drive issues and it seems that I am no exception. So, Because of this, I give this device a fail. What good is it if you cant record an event if one should occur. It is still possible that I have a setting that is not correct, but I have looked everywhere and all setting seem like they are correct.Until they come up with a more reliable hard drive system, I feel I have wasted my time and money. I am sure that I will spend more time working this issue that I don't want to spend time doing, but what choice do I have at this point? Spend a day removing the hardware to send it back?

Good Deal.
This camera system arrived with 8 Cameras and one was bad. I contacted ANNKE support and they were very helpful. I now have the 8th camera. The photo attached is a view on my phone showing 7 cameras. We keep the 8th one in reserve for when we go on trips and use it inside the house. We have a house alarm system also so the camera system is nice when the alarm goes off and calls us. We can then tell false alarms and reset the alarm system without returning home.
