Fits well, is stylish, seems to protect temples, front and lower back of head
My 12 yr old daughter is a figure skater and has hit her head several times hard on the ice, once having to go to the ER because she briefly lost consciousness. As a mother, and as a healthcare provide myself, this stressed me out. I researched head protection products for figure skaters for hours before finally selecting this product. She has used it for a month now and she likes the way it feels and looks. It is perfectly snug and really looks like a workout headband. I have only seen her hit her head once while wearing it but of course this particularly fall wasn't as hard as the previous ones because her body hit the ice before her head did but the headband did offer protection and she jumped right back up. It offers protection more for the temple and nape of the head and doesn't really seem to offer protection of the crown of her head.

Nice
I am an adult using this while ice skating. My head measures 21 1/2, and I bought a size 4. It fits, but it feels a bit tight. I am not sure if a 5 might slip off, though. I am not sure if it will stretch. I am not sure it the tightness will make it uncomfortable. I wish I had ordered both a 4 and a 5. The item seems well made and is fairly cushy, and about 1/2 inch thick. It says it is machine washable. I am an adult woman. Maybe if it is worn adjusted down a bit in the back, which is like the image in the description, it will be OK. I hope this helps someone. ***UPDATE!!!*** I used it twice and it is great. It feels like it is made from a firm memory foam and it is comfortable for me. The first day I thought it would be too tight, but it's not. You don't want this to be loose or it might not protect when needed. Good product. I have not fallen and hope not to, but I feel this product will cushion my head fairly well if necessary.

Doesn’t look like goofy head gear just looks like a headband.
Doesn’t look nearly as bad as we thought it would. It essentially just looks like a headband.

Foldable head protection for
I got the Classic, with more padding, instead of the Slim.I needed some head protection for use on a Lime (or other rental electric scooters, where I'm out and about, but not carrying a full bike helmet. Is it a good scooter helmet? No.Is it way better than nothing? Absolutely. My head measures 22.25", technically a size 5, but from reading reviews I chose a smaller size 4. Glad I did -- at first it was too tight, but after 30 mins or so it's loosens up *just* enough.

Great for minor head contacts for sports.
My granddaughter plays soccer which can become a contact sport easily. After head contacts she will wear the head gear and have very few issues. It is a little tight according to her but lightweight and comfortable, and it does its job in protecting her head.

Great coverage, fit is an issue.
This has a padding over the full 360 degrees circumference. Fit is very tight when she first put it on (uncomfortable), but loosens with wear to be almost too big. It doesn't stay in place, and constantly needed readjustment during game. This was definitely a distraction for my daughter.

Comfortable and light
I bought this helmet for a child for added safety in soccer after a concussion, because it received a high score in a test. It is very light and feels and looks good, more like a bandana than a helmet. You don't even notice he is wearing it unless you're right next to him. And he likes to wear it! The size chart was very helpful, and the helmet is a perfect fit. It is comfortable, no pressure, but not too loose either. It doesn't interfere with playing in any way and it doesn't affect heading the ball. Altogether, it is great value for money.

Protect your kid's brain, they'll probably need it later
My 9-year old daughter started field hockey this year. At the beginner level it's really just a bunch of kids crowding around and looking down at the ball, so not unusual for kids to knock heads. I'm a pediatrician and a bit of a worry-wart in general, so probably more conscious than most about concussions and neurological development. There is a lot of concerning data, most notably that the risk of suicide in teenagers is significantly increased in kids who have had 2 concussions in the previous year.Virginia Tech has done an extensive set of tests and ratings for headgear. I went through all of their 4 and 5 star ratings and the Storelli was the best in terms of price, protection, and looks. A kid wearing this headband who takes a conk on the head is expected to be 84% less likely to get a concussion than a kid not wearing anything at all.It does have to stretch out a bit and the kid'll have to get used to it. I found the sizing off the website to be pretty accurate. After it stretches, it looks just like a bit of a bulky headband and is tough to notice especially if your kid has longer hair that just goes over it. All in all, very happy with the purchase and consider it well worth it to protect my daughter's brain.
