So far so good
Installed this in my 2013 Honda Civic LX sedan 1.8L. Installed easily and so far no issues. Appears to be actual OEM as described. Will update if need be.

Genuine Honda!
Usually I'm all for aftermarket on my hoopties, but when it comes down to things like a PCV valve, I like to keep it factory to mitigate any potential failures. For my 2008 Honda CR-V, This PCV valve is a genuine article Honda part stamped with the part number onto the flange. Threads match apples to apples against the original. The only non original piece used was the new washer as I bought them in bulk for my oil changes. It uses the same washer as the drain plug and fit perfectly.Honda says to torque to 33 ft lbs, I only did 27 ft lbs, as all the horror stories of threads snapping, and honestly, could've done less than as it sits rather snug as a bug In a rug. This is one of those Easy maintenance items that ensures proper engine performance that, if ignored in the long term, can cause a lot of damage. Worth the money in my opinion. And you can't beat OEM quality in replacement parts.

Fits 2012 Civic EX
Replaced it at 200k miles. But I would recommend replacing at 100k miles. Exact same as the factory PCV valve. Install takes less than 5 mins. I saved hundreds of dollars vs visiting my local Honda stealership for them to install it. Must use a new crush washer, it’s the same size crush washer used for the engine oil drain plug. Difficulty level is a 1 of 5. Fit my 2012 Civic EX perfectly.

Great lifesaver
I had bought this PCV valve to replace one that I bought from gates. The one I bought from gates caused a lot of oil to burn through the engine and even caused my exhaust to smoke. Come to find out that it was defective. I ordered a free replacement through gates, and even that one was bad. replaced both with the original Honda one and my car is working great again. I contacted Gates about having a recall of some sort and they did not respond positively. Just by the stuff on important things like this.

Use oil drain plug washer.
I always recommend OEM PCV's. The Honda PCV is made of a stronger metal so the flats are less likely to round and there are actually two springs inside it.You can tell this is OEM because it doesn't come with a washer/gasket. Luckily, it's the same as the oil drain plug washer/gasket.

Yes, it's OEM not an aluminum knock-off. Easy installation.
Replaced the original PCV valve in my 2007 Honda Element (72,000 miles) - easy installation; is OEM steel (not aluminum like some of the knock-offs); Element drives like a new car - this eliminated a surging problem that had been present.
