Q: i am very fair skinned and usually i have a problem with light foundations being too dark. can anyone tell me if this is too dark for pale skin?

I am also very fair-skinned (essentially always use the lightest shade in foundation), and I found it too dark. I'd suggest looking at some other options.

Q: what color is best for fair skin to cover the red around nose and on forehead?

It depends on how fair you are. I’m pretty pale, with neutral to pink undertones and the lightest shade of this product oxidized way too much and turned out a few shades darker and more orange-y. So I’d recommend you swatch this product in-store to match your tone the best (:

Q: is nude or ivory the lightest shade?

Ivory. If you look at the product #s (001 vs 004) the lower the number the lighter the shade. At least that's the conclusion I've come to with using this product.

Q: Does this foundation settle into fine lines ?

No it does not. It covers very well, but then I always use a face primer before applying my makeup. I hope this helps.
