Convenient and powerful enough for home DIY projects
After owning corded circular saws for nearly 40 years, this is my first battery powered model. I have found it to be entirely up to the task for my sawing needs (1.5" thick boards, ripping 3/4" plywood, etc.). I have really grown to appreciate the convenience of cordless tools. This saw holds a charge very well and will get the job done. I had an issue with the overload sensor after about 6 months of use and Craftsman had a replacement saw sent to me in 2 days. I would definitely purchase again.

I use the Craftsmen LIne and this Saw works great
I decided to go to battery power and the Craftsmen 20V system has worked for all the tools. I have like 4 chargers and 7 batteries. Always have a charged battery and use them in about 8 tools at this point. This saw is lightweight and a bit small but it actually works out very well. Before, I would try to cut things with the jig saw but this is handy, very light, no cables to pull around and does a great job. Probably not a tool the pros would choose but it is great for a homeowner with smaller projects and occasional use.

Just what I needed!
You got to be slow with this saw cause if you horse to much it cuts out! Nice little saw for odds and ends! You do get a blade with your saw.

does the job part of a one battery tool system
the blade it comes with seems good enough it's not the most powerful but it doesn't seem to struggle with plywood or planks.

Good Cordless Saw For The Price
I purchased this saw to build a small tool shed. It cut through 2x4s and 3/8" plywood without any issues. It is a light and easy saw to use.
