Excellent Adhesion
I was painting the plastic body panels of a wave runner. These panels were not previously painted, so I tried this product. Glad I did.After applying the adhesion promoter, I sprayed primer over the same area before applying the paint. Everything went on according to instructions, and everything worked. My project turned out great, thanks to the solid foundation provided by this product.

Prior to painting, especially auto painting, this is the best adhesion promoter I have found. I works exceptionally well with plastic. I would recommend this to everyone.

Easier & cheaper than doing it over
We've all seen repairs driving down the road that were not prepped right. The flaking finish looks worse than a primered panel. I guess I'll never know if it's working for sure, but for the price of modern 2 & 3 stage auto paints and the effort involved in applying them, it's worth the extra 10 seconds with a spray can (on top of properly cleaning with solvent and sanding).

Failed ASTM crosscut adhesion test on nylon
I ran a whole slew of adhesion tests on TR90 nylon with different surface preparation techniques, hand sand, sand blast, tumbled in ceramic media, etc. I was shocked to find that those prepared with Bulldog adhesion promoter had worse adhesion than no primer at all! I've been using this for a long time and just assuming it works! Hmmm.
