Excellent
For my needs, they're perfect and long wearing. I'm prepping steel for paint, and these quickly strip the mill finish and surface rust. Recommended

Great for removing mill scale
I love these things. They're excellent for taking off mill scale, which is exactly what I needed. They don't clog up like flapper disks. They don't wear away the steel quickly like grinding discs. One thing to note, these are not for all purposes. These things probably take off paint great, but it turns out that my paint had a clay-like filler material underneath, which clogged right up on these discs. But what they're meant for, these are fantastic. They're the best I've found for removing mill scale and brightening the finish on steel.

Mounting center is bad.
Of course these are awesome material and great for what they are intended for, my only complaint is the center ring where you would screw the abrasive on to the grinder is literally a paper thin steel center. If you use it more then once the ring straps out and you have to use the butter nut that comes with the grinder to keep it attached.

Great alternative to flap discs
I use these on the front side of the metal art pieces I create to give me a uniform appearance. They would work on the dross side, but they wear down too fast and are too expensive to be wasting on a side that won't be visible.

Wrong description,
Product is silicon carbide abrasive , not aluminum oxide A XCS,.the description is wrong. had to return and order from a different supplier

They’re really good for rust and paint.
These things last a while and are nice and abrasive. Probably the best thing I’ve used for removing rust. The only issue for me was the stupid way it attached to my grinder. It screwed on itself in a weird way that left a piece of the threading metal hanging. And it was sharp. It still needs the lock nut to hold it on but had to be screwed on. Kinda weird and unnecessary.

Not 3M
These are NOT 3m scotchbrite disks, rather, some cheap foreign imitation.
