Quick delivery, I followed instructions, my garden is like walking on concrete as the heavy clay has gone hard.I put plenty enough on the lawn I put it on in it's powder form and made sure I covered it all properly first.Then I got the hosepipe and put it on a spray setting like natural rain and soaked the gypsum in, it melts quickly and easily, the next day I went over the lawn again to melt any of the Gypsum that was still showing white.Being a bit of an all or nothing person, I put a few kilos more than recommended, this can negatively affect the PH etc of the soil nutrients, but I will go over the lawn with powdered fertiliser in due course so should not be a problem, my main goal is to hopefully break down the clay first.I will put the remaining Gypsum on the lawn again in 14 days as recommended and soak it in if we have no rain.I will of course have to wait 4 to 6 months to see if there is any improvement in my lawn as this is no quick fix.But for me it's worth the test doing it this way, as I don't have the energy to dig in tons of new top soil over a rock hard mostly clay lawn, I'm to old for that nonsense.

Still not opened it it but will use it to break up our clay soil once the existing bag is emptied.

We have a clay soil garden (new build) and used this to help with the soil makeup. It does require work but if you’re willing to put the work in it will produce results! Sprinkled this over and then turned the soil which has resulted in a noticeable difference after a week or two. Had to repeat but it is definitely helping with the drainage. Would recommend!

I have very clay soil this stuff is supposed to brake the clay down.I wont know if it works for several months
