Looks great, easy install
Been looking around for some time for an awning that didn’t cost $300. Finally found this one, and I’m glad I did. High quality materials and simple installation.

It works beautifully!
It work great keeping the sun out of my kitchen but definitely not a beginner project to install. It looks wonderful from outside and we are very pleased!

learning
Mounting was a learning experience. The first one, brown, was difficult to mount, but the second one, green, was a breeze. Both are high quality, handsome and much appreciated.

Fades within weeks
So disappointed. Product went up easily and looked great. Within 3 weeks, I noticed the black started looking washed out. I though it was dusty. I hadn’t had a chance to install the second adjacent one yet as it is a rental property and my time to make repairs is limited. Got both installed within a month of each other and they didn’t even look like they were the same awning because the first one had faded so much. Now, 3 months after installing them, the fabric looks terrible. Did not perform well outside AT ALL!

The tricky part for me was drawing level for the holes. 6ft.
I got this at a killer price to replace a green one. I raised the mount up a foot so wasn't able to reuse the old drill holes. My ladder was wrong, my level too short putting my face too close to the house. Made due with an old laser level but it was easy after that. Drilled the holes, installed the mounts and clamped up the awning. If it's not perfectly level, I sure can't' tell. The 3 part rod had some give in it over a 6ft span so was worried for no reason.The only difference I noted with the new one was the cord and pulleys. The old cord was thinner, synthetic over a core. The new one is thicker with larger pulleys but looks like cotton and shorter in length.*Note* hang the pulleys on the mounting bracket after you put up the awning. Then route the cord.

Product is great but company is impossible to contact.
I bought one to see if it can handle a Florida hurricane. Yes it can(folded up). I want to buy more, 10 to be exact. Only to find they are sold out. Tried to contact castle creek to see if they are just delayed or no longer made, only to be stonewalled. Awning is great access to company, not so much.

A great value, easy to install, beautiful awnings.
I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of these awnings as well as the ease of installation. I am 91 years old and I put them up in one afternoon. The instructions are terrible but fortunately it is pretty simple to tell how they go together. A tip. Put the back rail in the awning and install on the wall before putting the side and front pieces in place. This keeps the frame out of the way while you attach the back to the wall.

Very sturdy and attractive
The fabric is much better than the cheap Aleko awnings I purchased a few years ago. They are all shredded now. The fabric appears to be a thick canvas and it looks like it will last longer. Time will tell, but these awnings are pretty high quality. One final note, I have noticed that they keep the house much cooler so that I don't have to run my air conditioner.
