So I bought this for my varicose veins and swelling feet…doesn’t work for me…but side effects will keep me buying it! I have had fine hair my whole life, needed little clips which are hard to find, since using this, my hair is so thick I am using an adult clip for the first time in my life! Big fan!Update!!! In May I had stopped taking this for 2 months. I was admitted to the hospital with varicose veins bulging with lumps all down my leg. Dr. did an ultrasound and told me to put heat on my leg and elevate it. That’s all, I couldn’t sit, walk, or sleep without pain. I read up on my clot condition & decided to go back to these. I take 2 pills 2x’s a day. My clots are no longer visible on the outside, but as of latest ultrasound, are still on the inside. My log now looks like I have used a brown marker down my veins, but no more pain or discomfort. They will be removed with surgery within a few months: But trust me, I took every pain pill, elevated, used heat compression, nothing worked. This did in about 2 weeks. I don’t skip a dose 2 pills 2 times a day.

I was having a lot of painful joint problems but, after starting this, I honestly haven't had nearly the number of flare ups as before. What few flare ups I get don't last very long, thankfully.

I got these because they do not contain shellfish products. They just contain glucosamine, not chondroitin, but I've read some professional medical literature (Prescriber's Letter) that stated glucosamine alone works just as well as the combo. I have hip arthritis, and by the time I started taking these, my damage was already done. My Doc says they don't undo existing damage, and I believe him. But even after getting both hips replaced, I still take these - I figure I have other joints and they work well, so let's keep them that way.These are also significantly less expensive than the glucosamine/chondroitin combos out there. Capsules are a little big - I make sure to take them with a full glass of water, one at a time.

I got plenty of EPA from other sources, but no DHA, and I'm not the type of person who eats the "fatty fish" they recommend to get DHA, which you really do want since its an essential omega 3 fatty acid. Fish oil, no matter what they said, did, or claimed, gave me burps that tasted how cat food smells. It was not pleasant. The "lemon" fish oil ones? They just tasted like how cat food would smell if you put lemon on it. Absolutely no help. So these were obviously out.Besides fish oil, I couldn't find many decent sources of DHA. So I searched and came across this product. It's perfect. Exactly what I needed. It's a nice, small soft gel that is easy to swallow. Best of all, it has no taste, and absolutely no after taste. The dose is also perfect because it is exactly what one should get everyday. One and done. Couldn't be happier.

Can’t say these work so well.

First, I have to say that I have a shellfish allergy and so I have to look for vegan products. This is the only one that I have found and even at that I was a bit hesitant but I really needed to find something to help with my stiff and hurting joints. I have been on a cancer preventing estrogen inhibitor and the drug just makes me ache terribly with pain in all of my joints. So, a friend told me about glucosamine but the shellfish thing is a big problem. Well, I have been on this about a month or so and I can already tell a difference. I am having less discomfort in my joints and moving better. It is a slow improvement but any improvement to me is a plus. The good thing is that I have had no allergic reaction and no problems with my stomach since starting this supplement. I will continue with this product and hope to see continued slow improvement. I an very encouraged by this supplement and best of all, I do not have to worry about an allergen.
