Horizon Poly Tarp Swimming Pool Solar Blanket Protective Cover - 24 Feet Wide

Solar reel protective covers are critically important. Without them, the solar cover will be quickly destroyed by the sun. But, nothing comes for free: the covers themselves are also prone to damage from the sun. We have had this on our cover for about a year now and there has been no apparent deterioration. That's better than previous covers we have used, which typically start to look rough after one season. This one is still holding up well. In the summer it endures the sun. In the winter it endures the chipmunks, who love to perch on it and sometimes hide in the solar cover reel. Neither has caused an damage so far.If we get more than two years out of it, we will be very happy.

This cover is by far the best one I have purchased in years. It is a nice heavy reinforced plastic, not the cheap stuff most companies sell at near the same price. This appears as though it will last at least a few years instead of 1 season with others [if you're lucky].This one is also very generous in size so you could cut it down to a closer fit, I appreciate this.I would recommend this cover to any pool owner with a solar cover.

This tarp is a pretty good cover for the solar blanket it is large enough and the material feels fairly durable to stand up to the weather. The biggest draw back is that for a 24ft reel cover they provide only 12 inches of velcro - packed separately - to cut into several small pieces to then stick on the cover to hold it on. I was expecting full length Velcro closure like the one I replaced. I will purchase more Velcro to make this cover stay on the reel more securely.

Easy to install, will require someone to help out. It stays on my solar blanket even during strong winds. Just simply cut to size, then velco your straps in place. This will easily double the life of your solar blanket. The heat is the main thing that kills solar blankets. Thanks.

This poly tarp solar cover blanket is superior to the white plastic sheeting that usually comes with the cover. I have used it for about 4 months with excellent protection for the cover. Down side is the self adhesive Velcro strips that you attach don't stay on. I use budgie cords to keep the cover in place.

It is just a piece of plastic. But the company is cool. I asked for a refund, they sent me another, didn't make me return the other one and gave me my money back.

Closer could be better by alot
