So far, so good
I probably shouldn't be writing this yet as I've made a big move across country since buying it so haven't really field tested all that good, but.. so far, it's weight and height and folded length seem to be hard to beat for the price. Inverted legs makes the folded length really short, like right around 15" even with ballhead attached, depending on your head. One note about weight, it weighs just shy of 3lbs, 5oz., so heavier than Siruis claim of 3.1 lbs or 1.4 kg. So, should be more like 3.3 lbs. Not much but they should be more accurate for folks looking critically at the weight of their tripods. Everything has worked well, legs easily extended, retracted.. Feels solid, like it will last. One concern has been the center column lock twist. It's just a very short throw from loose to tight and you can see the plastic...?? tighteners at the top. I really need to get out with my Nikon D750 and Sigma 150-600 on it to see how it holds up at/to that point. It should do just fine based on it's weight support spec. but, you never know. My only concern with the strength of this thing is the center column lock as mentioned before. Got the wonderful Manfrotto MHXPRO-BHQ2 XPRO Ball Head on it so no concerns there. If I experience any issues down the road I'll get back to you. Pic is with D750, batt. grip, and Nikon 24-85mm. Update 5/15/2018 - I'm upgrading review to 5 stars. Tripod is really holding up well, feeling like new to this day. Very solid, well built, no issues or concerns. Highly recommended.

Great value.
This does the job for a reasonable price. The leg locks can be a bit funky and the legs a little wobbly so make sure you position them to prevent vibration shake. This folds up small for travel and holds mirrorless cameras and most lenses well with the K-10X ballhead. Wish I would have sprung for the carbon fiber version but this does a great job for a little money. Included short center column is a plus.I do wish I would stop getting E-mails asking me to write a review. I received several.

OK, I suppose
It was ok. Not as great as my same brand monopod and monopod with feet. I also contacted the seller and tried to change the order to carbon fiber, but they didn't respond until 3 days later!

For Its Price Range, Top In Its Class - Works for 5D3 + 70-200mm
After using a WAY too flimsy travel tripod on a July business trip, I got this one to try on my most recent photo shoot trip and it was JUST strong enough to work for me. I didn't want to drag my huge Gitzo 5542L and have to check it under the plane, and I needed the tripod to fit in my suitcase. This tripod fit the bill. Most of the time I did not extend the last thinnest section but sometimes I had to. I shoot a 5D Mark III and two lenses, 16-35mm/4 and the heavy 70-200mm f/2.8 IS II, and this tripod held up. Naturally I had used the tripod collar on the 70-200mm and mounted the lens on the tripod. For the head I got what seems to be the best value per dollar in the sun-professional market: Desmond DB-44 44mm Ball Head Arca / RRS Compatible w Pan Lock for Tripod. I already have Arca Swiss Plates so I didn't need an adapter, usually heads under $100 have their own weird QR plate, but this one works natively, and it's definitely strong enough for the 70-200mm. I was shooting mainly indoors but also did exteriors and the tripod/head combo didn't let me down, quite surprising for the price. It's 5 star because of what it does considering the small size and lower price. You don't need a $500 travel tripod, this will work. Warning: It is HEAVY, more than you would expect for this class and price. But that's part of what makes ity sturdy.

Compact, Sleek, black, and easy to lug around
Solid, I like solid, for an inexpensive product this tripod just oozes quality, very black, very sleek. At the same time it is not at all heavy.I like this tripod too much and may need therapy.I paired it with a Sirui pan tilt head, also recommended.Comes with a very nice bag, and all accessories. You have to remember my previous tripod was a generic Sunpack with a built in pan/tilt head, all light plastic, so this is like night and day!

Well Built, Stable, and Portable
The tripod is a smaller version of the EN-2004 that I already had before I bought the T2005X. I plan on using it for situations where I may have to go on foot for a longer distance, or for travel due to its size/weight. It is very nicely built, functions smooth and firm, the twist lock legs perform well and lock up sturdily, and the ball head mount is nice and stable. It handles my K-20X ball head, which I can interchange between it and my EN-2004 perfectly. If you want stability in a smaller size tripod, I would recommend this.

People say it is on the heavier side for travel ...
People say it is on the heavier side for travel tripod, but they are not heavy at all if you slide them on your back or side-mount on your backpack. Height is more than adequate. Just be careful not to rub the oil under the turning nobs that adjusts height of the legs.

One awesome tripod!
I bought these tripod legs to upgrade my system for still photography where I needed a more stable base. This is exactly what l was looking for. Easily adjustable and you absolutely cannot beat the price. I purchased the Sirius K-10x tripod head to go with it and have what I considered the perfect combination. You won’t regret buying this.
