Cool steps that not a lot of trucks have, it stands out.
I’ve had my Aires ActionTrac running boards for 22 months now. I bought these running boards because no one else had them on their pickups at the time. I love the look and function of the steps because it helps my kids and wife get into my truck more easily! However, my drivers side step comes down as it should when I open the door but when I close the door the step only come back up 1/4 of the way. I’ve not gotten any help or responses from Aries for warranty support and can’t get any help from Amazon on the matter, they just send me to Aries. If I could get the step replaced or even the motor to replace the current motor in drivers step then I’d be content! I have over $85k into my pickup truck and to have a step that isn’t working properly brings the value of my truck down! Only other complaint is the plastic end caps on running boards have completely faded and are now a light grey color.

Looks good on my 2019 Chevy 2500HD Diesel. The running boards were pretty simple to install except when you get to the def tank. You’re going to have to drop that tank in order to mount the last bracket. The wiring was pretty much plug and play. I recommend that you watch some YouTube videos on how to install this product before getting your hands dirty. After a few months both driver and passenger side lights started to flicker. I contacted the ARIES parts representative and they sent me both replacement lights free of charge. No problems with the new lights.

GREAT FOR WIFE
My wife has knee problems and is rather short, has always had a difficult time getting in and out of my Silverado. These steps allow for her to get in and out easier and since they fold up, they look great on my truck without being to low to the ground while driving.The biggest plus for her is that when the steps are deployed, the bottom step is much closer to the ground than any others we have tried.When closed, they are 16 inches off the ground.When deployed, they are 8.5 inches off the ground.The top and bottom steps are 8.5 inches from each other.NOTE: These measurement may be off slightly as I am on an uneven gravel driveway but they are pretty close to accurate.

Weight limit
I love this product but I have buddies who are heavy. Now I can't find the weight capacity and I'd really hate to see them bent from exceeding the limit Can anyone find this info since I paid to have them installed? I never saw the owners manual.

Sturdy steps.
Packaging had a hole in the box with a large scratch on the side of the step.Install from the directions are a little challenging but overall it is not too bad. The most difficult part was routing the wires through the firewall of the truck, there was not much room or available access.Steps are very sturdy and it surprises you on the first couple of times opening the doors. I would purchase again.

running boards seems okay so far.
Shipment contained all the hardware necessary to install on my Silverado 2500HD Diesel short bed. Mechanical installation was easy enough. Ended up having to drop the DEF tank to get the passenger side secure. However shipment did not contain any of the electrical harnesses, sensors, controllers necessary to make them function. It has now been 1 week since delivery and the seller has failed to resolve the issue. Very disappointed in their slow response.
