Works
Great small lock level for the price. I do handicap ramps so my distance is usually 18’ to 24’. Works fine. Not for long distance but if you need to shooting 50 to 75’ distance and have used a lock level before great for occasional use. Highly recommend.

Easy and good
My dad introduced me to these simple levels many years ago. I still have two of his, but they are worn and I decided to try the current versions. This is very good. I shot some long lines with it and it’s far superior to my antiques.

Adequate for many but not all jobs
This little hand-held sight level was the perfect addition to my field marine biology equipment list. My students use these with vertical elevation poles to measure heights of locations in the intertidal zone relative to tidal height. It works well for this purpose. The unit admittedly is lightweight, plastic, and even feels cheap in your hand. But it does the job, as long as you don't have to be too precise. I found to be accurate to within +/- 1-2 cm over a distance of 10 meters or so. Plus if you are on a budget, as most of us are, the price is definitely right! The sight itself includes a simple horizontal bubble-level mechanism and a mirror that reflects the bubble into the view direction. The bubble is quite large compared to the view field, and you have to estimate where the mid-line is, but, as I said before, it's adequate for many jobs. For example, this unit would work just fine if you wanted to make sure that a fence line was level, or similar jobs. It would not, however, be adequate for survey work, or sighting over long distances. A laser level would be greatly preferred for that kind of work. This unit does a good job for what I needed to do, and at an affordable price.4 solid stars.

Great product but price gouging
This thing works great and is pretty durable. Was 17.79 July 11 2023. Less than 9 months and they’ve almost doubled the price

Sight level for contrators or DIY
After speaking with a contractor to plan our house build, my husband decided to order one. Our land is not completely flat, so this level assists you on determining the height of the land. It is easy to use, but I would recommend reading the directions first.

Great for making ballpark estimates
I was pleasantly surprised of how accurate it was, even out to 100'. It is a little dark to read the bubble in full bright sunlight, but it can be done.

Good level for the price
It's inexpensive--and functions ok. It has the very basics for a sight level. A note about use with corrective lenses: there are a few options. First, note that the eyepiece has a very narrow (< 1mm) aperture to look through. There's something of a pinhole effect, so you may find that you can see well enough without glasses if you normally use them. Or you can wear the glasses normally and still see enough to function with it--you can also hold one lens in front of the level. None of these three options will get you to 20/20, but you probably don't need that. I don't know whether presbyopia would be a problem with this or not.The 4-star rating is based mostly on price. If I had spent more, I might have expected more. But it delivers good value, especially so if you just want this for semi-casual use.
