If you’ve never had Urfa pepper before, it is earthy, smoky and mildly spicy. My husband loves it sprinkled on his hummus and anything else you would want a smoky flavor on. It is processed with salt so may have a very lightly salty taste that could vary by brand. This is a very good value for the money. The last bottle we had lasted us about a year and a half, and was half the size of this one. The price was probably about the same. Delicious!

This is my new favorite spice - I have even bought it for chef friends of mine for them to try it out. I have found that using it in conjunction with smoked black pepper creates a wonderful, earthy flavor. It doesn't pack any heat, just a unique and powerful taste.

Read a great article about it in a cooking magazine. It’s an incredible find. Mid Eastern pepper is superb. Tremendous with fried eggs but many, many things.

I’ve been using Urga pepper for years for various uses. It has a very deep almost chocolatey flavor , not as spicy and regular pepper. One of my favorite uses is believe it or not on cheese pizza . You’ll never have it any other way

You don’t use much and it adds so much flavor

Wonderful seasoning! Great for any potato dish, eggs, roast, pork or lamb chops and even steak.
