Captain Raptor and the Moon Mystery

Anyone looking for a great character to make into a cartoon?We have both the Captain Raptor books and although the stories aren't very long they are just right for a bed time read. All O'Brien's books are great fun but don't see them in UK which is a shame.

Amazing! The artwork is brilliant, and the storyline is great for younger kids. Is THIS the END for Captain Raptor and his fearless crew?!

The Captain Raptor books are awesome!

This is one of our favorite books! After checking it out multiple times from the library we decided this was one we just had to own. The illustrations are beautiful and detailed. The story holds up to many, many readings and is told with humor and just enough suspence to keep my boys (4 & 6) rivetted without being really scared. Our favorite parts are the cliffhanger pages that end with Captain Raptor in peril and the question "Is this the end of Captain Raptor?" My boys shout NO! as we turn the page to see his exciting escape from danger.

My son found this book at the library last fall and kept it so long I finally decided to buy our own copy. Dinosaur Super heroes saving the world from bad guys - Every little boy's dream! It was his first introduction to the "comic book style" and it really kept him entranced.I highly recommend this book for young readers. It is well done and very fun.

The Captain Raptor stories are a perfect blend of a children’s book, a chapter book, and a graphic novel. It’s full of healthy boy fun and action that’s not overdone.In this adventure, Captain Raptor and his fearless crew are sent to investigate an alien space ship full of very familiar creatures. It teaches how to help those in need and how anyone can become friends if we only try.
