I have always made biscuits with all purpose flour, but ordered White Lily to see if there was any difference. It made a far superior biscuit. Very light and fluffy

The only biscuits I’ll serve
I order White Lily because as a Southerner in California I can’t serve anything but the best biscuits. When my kids have sleepovers I make a double batch because they eat so many, and I’m in heaven knowing no one else makes biscuits like I do.

This flour is not for high altitudes!
Tried this flour for some nutbread and the nutbread sunk in the middle. We are in the CO mountains and this flour is extra light so you'll need to add at least 2 additional Tablespoons of flour!

Best
White Lily was used with all my southern lady relatives when making buttermilk biscuits. Being from the North I only use White Lily self rising flour. Of course I call to my southern Grandma to make my biscuits as yummy as hers. My dad told me mine will never be like theirs as they made biscuits morning, noon and evening. I didn't show my disappointment. Although since then I've practiced and practiced and can make biscuits that all will eat!!
