I'm not sure why the reviews are so negative regarding these seeds. I've purchased them multiple times and experienced good germination rates. Using Jiffy seed starting mix along with a starter tray and grow light package I bought on Amazon, all of the seeds germinated successfully. Outdoors, the seeds I planted in unprepared sandy loam have grown to about 4-5 inches tall. Interestingly, some of the best growth occurred in partially shaded areas with pine needles on the ground. Indoors, under the grow light, they sprouted consistently. I will mention that planting in unprepared soil outdoors led to some unpredictability in germination and growth speed, but they are thriving throughout my sandy pine timber tract. I'm excited to see how everything turns out!The seeds need to be at the top of your loose soil, not buried. If you’re seeding outdoors in sunny areas you may want to apply straw to help protect the seeds from drying out. I didn’t water the seeds outside I just threw them in areas I thought would retain moisture. I also try to throw them when I see rain and clouds in the forecast. Indoors under grow lights it took 3-4 days for 1/4 inch sprouts. I gave them about 20 hours of light per day and kept them damp with a water misting bottle so 3-4 days of rain & clouds should be perfect if you plant them on top of some loose soil without any completing vegetation.

Plenty of water. Seeds didn't even sprout. Then, once we got serious flooding, they sprouted. When they say these things are drought tolerant I worry because the seeds definitely need way more water than you'd expect.

This was a scam read the other reviews spent a lot of money and got scammed

Not one blade of grass. They claim grows in any soil. I would not recommend this product and think everyone should get their money back.
