The best fusion of J-III and JP Jazz
I went from Gator grip Jazz III, to JP Jazz picks, and have finally found the perfect pick in these. Enough grip and texture in the upper area, a vast improvement compared to the JP or Tortex or Gator, while having a glassy smooth, tapered tip that just glides over strings. Slightly larger than a JP Jazz, which is just slightly larger than a standard J-III. These are perfect.

Great grip, great tone
I've recently been experimenting with picks after playing Fender Medium cellulose for 35 years. I really liked the sound of the Dunlop Jazz III, but I couldn't deal with the small size or the thickness. I settled on Tortex 1.0mm for about 6 months, but I really preferred the sound of nylon. I had a few Jazz III XL, which were bigger in my hand, but the thickness still took me some time to adjust to. When I heard about these D'Addario Nylpro, I thought I'd give them a try. They are smaller than the Dunlop XL, but significantly bigger than the regular Jazz III. And, tbh, they have a bit more attack than the Jazz III, while still having the warmth of nylon that I really like. Long story short, the Nylpro is now my main pick for all electric guitar work.

Good alternative to Jazz III
I gave these 5 stars because they are a good, well-made, alternative to the traditional Jazz III. But I actually didn't like them and ended up not using them. For your own evaluations:Both the green and blue are very slightly bigger than a Jazz III, and the green is slightly bigger than the blue, but it is only a few thousandths of an inch difference: just barely noticeable but you can definitely feel it. The material surface is nice and slick and well rounded at the point, with almost no detectable difference between green and blue. Perhaps the greens are ever so slightly stiffer. The Embossing has a much more aggressive and "sharp" feel than the Dunlops. If you like that style of grip, then these will appeal to you. Personally, I hate engraving of any kind on the surface, as it makes my fingertips feel like there is dirt or sand on them, and I can't grip the pick as well. A nice shiny surface seems to vacuum itself to my fingers better for a better grip; but this is a personal preference issue. If you like the standard Jazz III these are well worth trying as a slight variation. For reference, I ended up liking picks like the D'Andrea ProPlec 651, the D'Addario Acrylux Reso, and D'Andrea Radix 551 I am still experimenting with those to see what I really like the best.

Great pick but wrong item sent twice
the blue Nylpro's are wonderful picks and among my favorites to use. However, this most recent order and it's replacement were wrong and I was sent the green Nylpro plus. Not the biggest deal but I would like to receive the blue Nylpro 100pack I ordered.

They pick!
They do what they are supposed to! I like these because they are smaller and I donโt find my pick going through the strings close to the pick ups. Also has great texture for grip. I have allot of picks and I always prefer these for grip and size.

Better than Blue
I like these over the blue nylpro. They actually sound warmer to me, with less pick noise. They aren't as slick as the blue version, but they have a good amount of grab on strings when picking without compromise of resetting for speed runs.Like the blue nylpro, the raised grip did take a bit of getting used to, but it serves its purpose well as far as slippage concerns. If you're used to smooth, cushion-like feel of picks like Black Ice or tortex picks, you'll need to adjust for the grip, but, overall, the pick is a decent addition to the Jazz III type arsenal.

Nice pics!! They take a bit to get used to then
Nice picks! They size is between a Jazz XL from JD and the J. Petrucci model. They are round sounded, a bit more dark or less plasticky sounding than the jazz ones from JD. Their grip is awesome!! They may give you a different experience at first but once you get used to them you will find them comfortable. They are nice for shredding, playing jazz and other genres as well, not so comfy for strumming but that's not a big deal once you play with them for some time. Recommended!!!
