Everyone in the review is saying the tracks break off? Why what happens?

Our experience was that the bulldozer got knocked off a desk it was sitting on and the tracks broke apart. Some of the pieces could be put back together but some were bent enough that they wouldn't easily fit together again. Would echo what others have already noted: This is clearly meant for a display/decoration piece only, not a toy to play with. Handle gently.

Does the door open to put an action figure inside?

No, this is a 1/50th scale and the cab is only about 1.5" tall. You would need to purchase large 200D Excavator Lights and Sounds. That one the cab opens. That cab is nearly 4" tall and an action figure could fit in that.

Not a toy!

I'm sorry so many of you had a negative experience with this product? My 2nd one arrived today, and there were no issues with either. I purchased 1st one for a retirement gift. I liked it so much that I bought one for myself. These are highly detailed die cast models meant for display. I really like the articulation on them, but they ARE NOT toys. They should only be gently handled, and not actually played with. If you do, then yes, it will get destroyed, and you will indeed have wasted your money.

Terrible

Received this today. Box came damaged. So I opened the box. Looks like someone else already had tried to open it beforehand. Finally got it opened and the second I took it out both tracks fell off, then one fell in half. Been trying to get them back together. Does not work. Would not recommend.

The kids love this, and it was as described. However, it apparently doesn't take much abuse: the cast piece between the cab & blade broke within a few months, and it will be a very difficult fix. Other than this (somewhat expected) weak point, the toy is great. Nice details otherwise.

ERTL John Deere 850K Diecast Dozer (1:50 Scale)

ERTL did ok with the Build of this 850K Dozer , The Blade fell off while taking it out of the box ,all the pins fell out ,I was Grateful their was a Plastic holding the Dozer in so the pins didn't get lost, Just take care when it is opened for the 1st time..
