Stylish, great for tricks and practicing and a fairly nice comb.
If you're the type of person that wants a cool training butterfly with some utility, this butterfly comb is the way to go.I wanted to wait a bit to write a review after getting it so that I could tell how sturdy it was and if it would loosen up a bit so that it is easier to flip and spin. I'm a bit of a novice at that, but it seems to do the trick quite well and, thankfully, it comes with a tool and extra screws for repairs and customization. The comb can be a bit uncomfortable to use at times, so gentle application is advised. If the teeth were slimmer, it might make a very good comb in that regard, but for the price and the aesthetic, it's a pretty good price regardless. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a practice butterfly with some extra style points.

Nephew happy... For the most part.
Bought as part of an X-Mas present for a nephew. He had been going on and on and on and on about butterfly knives before. Nephew is only 11 years old though so didn't want my sister or brother in-law to kill me for giving him a real knife. I do like giving out practical gifts though and this nephew is genetically cursed or blessed with curly hair. Being like most 11 year old boys, combing his hair falls into the same category of "likes doing" as chopping his hand off or being castrated. Overall the gift went over VERY well and he was ecstatic about it. Could NOT stop playing with the sucker during our X-Mas breakfast get-together. Up until the point where I told him that EVERY time he flipped it open, he had to comb his hair. That curbed his enthusiasm quite a bit after that. Lol

Good product, if a little finicky
Overall functions well, and is balanced nicely. Only two things I would watch out for are:-the teeth aren’t rounded after being machined, and can be a bit sharp.-the screws come loose relatively easily. It’s not a big issue unless you repeatedly drop it on hard surfaces (as long as it’s tightened properly), and it comes with the appropriate tool to do so.

The overall build feels very solid
I bought this butterfly knife-styled comb because I figured I can have some fun practicing how to twirl a butterfly knife for fun, minus the danger of stabbing myself with an actual knife. When I first held the product in my hand, the first thing I noticed was how it had some real weight on it. It doesn't feel like it's made using some cheap, low-quality material that would deform the body, or chip the black color right away. The dragon design on the handle compliments the black theme of the product very well. I would recommend this product to people who want to have some fun with a butterfly knife without the risk of hurting yourself or somebody. I would say that this product is well worth it.

Safe
My son asked for this for his birthday and I was a little skeptical but it's safe and entertaining for 11yr old boys keeping their hair slick.

You do get what you paid for
Cheap and it does work but I would definitely need to get a better one if I only have this balisong.Definitely great for starters who can’t decide if they want a good balisong or is not sure if you’ll stick to this hobby

Good Trainer
This is a great butterfly knife trainer for the price. It’s really smooth, has a nice flow when flipping, and great for beginners. The spring catch is one problem I came across, at first when you release the spring catch for the first time, it’s really difficult to put back on after awhile, I just really had to force it to lock in place and once I did that, is was easy to lock. Another thing is they paint, it tends to scratch off at the sensitive points of the balisong. But overall, I definitely recommend this for someone trying to get into balisong flipping seen as it flips great!
