Grandslam Finest Badger Shaving Brush with Resin Handle- Engineered for the Best Shave of Your Life (Gray)

First let me acknowledge that this is my upgrade from the boar bristle brush that came with my Van Der Hagen® Luxury Shaving Set. That kit was a great start for deciding whether or not I wanted to get into this as upping my shaving game from shaving creams and gels that come from a can. It was good enough to make me decide that this was the path that was worth the added effort.However, I also knew that it wasn't the end all/be all of this... So, I decided to make some improvements by upgrading the individual items from that kit. This brush was one of those things.I decided that I wanted to try something that while retaining stiffness, but be softer than the boars hair brush that came with my "starter kit". This badger hair brush totally fit the bill.Some people claimed that it has an offensive wet dog smell. Being that I have 5 dogs, I know what wet dogs smell like. This had a hint of that smell, but nowhere near as strong as an actual wet dog. This smell goes away after a couple uses.I can't compare this to the brushes that cost 5-15X as much as this, as I don't own them. That said, it was a dramatic improvement over a boar bristle brush in how soft it feels, retaining shape on the bristles, the lather it makes and still being stiff enough to be functional. I also prefer the weight of it and think it's attractive looking, as well as like how sturdy the handle feels.Well worth the $11.99 paid for it, I'd highly recommend.

I paid $16 for this in blue and it’s a fantastic brush. I found it to be soft and it looks elegant. It lathers up well and I did not experience any shedding. I like the heft of it. I’ve had several of these over my 50+ years and this is one is one of the nicest. I would buy this again without hesitation.

Everything new is great. While I have an electric shaver I still enjoy the luxury of shaving like a man. This brush replaced another brush I had ordered some six years ago. This one did not disappoint. It natural and does everything it is designed to do. I goes great with my wet shave accessories and looks great. It holds the lather well as I lather up twice and get a real close baby butt face smooth shave. I would recommend this to my wet shaving friends.

Were do i begin? Best brush ever!! Atleast for the money. Its what i would expect a 50$ brush may be like if i was the type to spend that kinda $ on one. So for the price range i can say it surpassed my expectations! Longevity i cant review yet but as far as quality. Its very well built beautiful handle an chrome, the hair is so soft an bushy. Believe it or not for as bushy as it is you can be quite percise with it. It lathers amazing! All around 5* brush an purchase an as always lightning fast shipping with amazon. Thanks! I love it! Will buy again an again!

This was a new gift for myself since my older brush was a cheap-o and shed on me like a Siberian Husky in the middle of July. I was a little wary because of the price but the other reviews on here seemed to give it merit.I am happy with it, very happy. It took a few uses to soften up and get rid of the natural scent of the hair but now that it has been used for a month or two it has softened nicely and holds lather very well. The knot seems strong enough and the initial shedding from my first few uses has stopped. Occasionally I will find myself wearing a hair or two but that is completely expected and acceptable. The weight is also just right. I don't feel like I am holding a cheap piece of plastic in my hands. Definitely recommend for the price.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Cute brush, but I ordered it with the compatible stand (also cute) and they were clearly not designed well. Brush does not fit in stand and would end up resting on its bristles - very much defeating the purpose.
