Cozy carseat
The only thing I don't like is the buckle, but that is a BabyTrend thing.Otherwise the carseat is so cozy for the baby with the extra infant padding, pretty light weight to carry, works with the double stroller, easy to install, and looks nice.

Great item - really nice
We are obsessed with this car seatwe purchased this in pink when we went to go get our newborn fosterwhen we had to reunify her - we returned itthen we got the call for a baby boy - and our local store didn't have this carseat in any color but pinkso we purchased a different one - and we HATED itso the next day we ordered this online and returned the other onewhat we love...so our foster boy is premie - and in this one his head doesn't fall down at all - the cushions on the side hold him up very nicelyhes nice and snug inside the carseat - he honestly looks protected from just a glancethe criss cross handle - easy to hold and easy to rock when on the flooronly downside is it is one of the heaviest car seats we have seen - but its worth it for protection

Remember to remove cushions as baby grows
I was initially very satisfied with this car seat, but it seems that it is designed for a newborn with tiny legs. My baby is not even 3 months old yet and already has outgrown this car seat. Even with trying to adjust the straps, they are too small and the bottom buckle digs into my baby's thigh. It's extra padded and stays in place while driving, but you may soon need to invest in another.Update: The cushions actually come out of the seat, which allows for more room for the straps, once removed. Eureka!

Infant car seat
Perfect for my nephew! Lots of padding! Very easy installation. Not very heavy at all. Great product for the price. 10/10 recommend

Hard to buckle
The media could not be loaded. We love this car seat in almost every way, except the bottom buckle. It is super hard for dad’s with big hands it’s a struggle to get those perfectly lined up and get the buckle in. This car seat is easy to take a part to wash. The preemie insert was amazing for my baby that was only under 5 pounds. Loved that we could get two bases one that only connected to anchors and then one that did the anchors and could do a seatbelt for trucks without anchors. This was so nice that I didn’t have to move the base every time pretty lightweight, easy to adjust the straps. One nice thing about the bottom buckle is that it is not metal and with a May baby It was comforting to know that she wasn’t going to get burnt from the hot metal on the buckle.

I’m gonna check this up to pregnancy brain… several reviews note my reason for return
So I’m gonna say that I have over researched every baby product because it’s been 10 years since my last baby was born and we live in a pretty rural area. So I can’t just go to the store and check out what’s available. Therefore, doing searches on Amazon become very overwhelming trying to sift through hundreds of products. We were looking for a car seat that would go with the baby trend expedition zero flat jogger. Needing a stroller with highly durable, bicycle wheels for all the different terrain we trek. I had bought this car seat and also a SureLift model to compare the two. This model definitely has an ease in removing the car seat from the base with the latch being right under the feet, and I also prefer the ease of adjusting the height of the base to level a car seat. Pushing a button couldn’t be easier. What I don’t like is the shiny cheap looking car seat handle. What’s a dealbreaker for me is the buckles. Between the legs each strap buckle has to be pieced together before it snaps into the red receptor. And those pieces are plastic. I don’t think I’ve ever seen plastic five point harness pieces for the buckle between the legs. I prefer this color in comparison to the SureLift, but it all boils down to the five point harness system. Will definitely be returning this one. One additional convenience difference in the two car seatsis the SureLift car seat has the side grips for additional ways to carry. I am also remembering the shirt lift has an additional visor piece to fold down on the canopy cover, which is a nice addition. They both have the ability to adjust the height of the straps as the baby grows, but the sure lift has a push button feature. Whereas this one has a dial to crank. I do, however, like this car seat base better and the security of using the belt latch. Just my two cents. Thought it might help someone else.

Bought FOUR times! Worth it!!!
I’ve literally bought some variation of this car seat FOUR times for my younger four kids, most recently for my 4 month old son. I’ve bought pink, blue, gray and now the teal. We gave the gray one away since we thought we were done with babies lol. Previously, we were a graco family, but for an infant seat I highly prefer baby trend! The car seat install is so much easier, and the adjustments of the baby in the seat itself is easy peasy. I do prefer the graco once we forward facing (slim fit), mostly for space saving purposes. You know it’s good when a large family mom keeps coming back! For the record, I didn’t HAVE to buy four..I didn’t want to use pink for my son, then we didn’t find out the sex of the next babe until birth. This last one I had already given the gray seat away or I would’ve used it again. Anyway, I will always recommend this car seat!!
