Universal 12-24V 100dB Waterproof Back-Up Alarm (Black-1 PCS)

This is my second purchase of this item for each of my cars. The product was easy to install and even I, as a non-mechanic, was able to run the wiring from the back-up light... through the truck....and to the under carriage and to the product. Easy install.... provides loud (but not too loud) sound....and small size. Great product and would recommend to anyone who wants to add some safety to the family car(s).

The media could not be loaded. Seems to be well built, to withstand the elements. Was glad it came with a bracket. The beeping is perfect, in terms of how loud it is. Can't beat it for the price. Installed in 2013 Toyota Sienna.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this alarm to install in my car. Attachment to backup light wires is recommended, and I planned to do that. However, my service rep at the dealership, where I get routine maintenance, said that the car manufacturer would not authorize it. Even though I consider the dealership to be overcautious, I decided that installing the alarm myself or with the help of another shop might put me at risk if later repairs to the light in question are required. I eventually decided that an alternative would be to attach the alarm to a wireless relay activated by a pushbutton, an inexpensive device I also purchased on Amazon. The video shows the completed project, which admittedly could be more elegant. I leave this portable backup alrm on my back seat and put down the rear window a bit as I am backing up to make the alarm audible to nearby pedestrians.

All is good, but would be really ideal if the loudness could be adjusted

Way too loud you are better off to use a small 12V buzzer with half the db's UNLESS you need it loud for commercial applicationtoo loud for home owner use

Insurance requires these on my trucks. Easy to wire to the reverse light. Can just attach them with a tie wrap if needed, they a re light. Good buy!

Wires are good quality and sealed securely. Fit nicely into my boat panel as an under-flow / over heat / low oil pressure alarm. The buzzer I purchased with a kit earlier in the year did not get my attention at 45 mph into the wind. It was useless. If this doesn't get my attention, I am not sure what will. Good value, easy hookup.
