Worth every penny for someone on a budget.
Had these for going on 4 years. Still great picture. Only flaws is lack of inputs but that I don’t need them with my setup. The buttons are sometimes hard to push? Would 110% buy again.

Most Bang for the buck of any 27" monitor out there for now
Frankly, not much of a review of the screen itself because it's perfect. Might as well be a photograph. I do note the viewing angle is so wide that it has no color or picture shifting even when you look at it totally from the side edge on. I do stream video sometime on it (Amazon Prime Video, NetFlix, etc.) and I might as well be watching a TV. I Don't use it for gaming (I don't do shot 'em ups or GTA stuff) so can't comment about that. Specs look good, but gamers are super hard core about bleeding, ghosting, etc. so no opinion there. I will say that blacks are very black, which is good, not the funky dark brown/green/blotchy/yuk stuff.I had a SE2717H (prior model of this one) that died after being on 24/7 for over two years. My other SE2717H is going strong and right next to this one. Picture is awesome, I love the IPS screen and I can work all day on it with no eye strain. IPS is all I buy anymore for myself or recommend to others. There are slightly better technologies out there now, but not for the money, especially MY money.Screen height is the same as the prior model so they go next to each other just fine. It is not adjustable up and down, only tilts front to back so it needs to be matched in hit to, not adjusted to match another monitor. There are no VESA mounting holes on the back so it must sit on the desk. The bezel is paper thin on this one (about 1/2" on the SE2717) but appears to be just under 1/4" due to the black edge on the panel itself. For $139.99 with next day delivery, you can't go wrong. Slight difference in the two is one is hooked up VGA and the other hooked up HDMI as they are the outputs on my PC. When I swapped the cables, the slight difference moved as well. The older model is on the left and is still running after two years being on and the new one is on the right.Packaging was the Dell box inside of a larger Amazon box with padding around the Dell box as well. I LOVE my Amazon delivery guys as the boxes always arrive without even a scratch. I have MS and now work from home exclusively and have had the Amazon guys actually carry stuff in for me. I can't say enough good stuff about them.Ordered Sunday, and arrived by 9:00 am Monday. In time for me to hook it up in place of the dead one and start my day. Super impressed. Didn't expect it until evening.

Good monitor, got to 75hz
It's a budget IPS 1080p monitor from Dell, so you basically know what you're getting. I was able to push it to 75hz, and it seems to handle it fine. Image is of the OSD showing that the monitor is running at 75hz. Response time seems okay at the higher frame rate. The OSD has a "Response time" overdrive option, but I think I prefer the "normal" option to "fast". From 10 seconds of moving the cursor around the "fast" option looked a little too blurry. Didn't do too much testing with gaming but everything looked okay once vsync was enabled, without it the tearing was pretty bad. I set the sharpening to 0, everything else looked over-sharpened to me.The OSD has nice on screen guides pointing out where the buttons are, which makes it easier to navigate the menu.I'm personally used to a VA panel so the colors don't look quite as saturated, but the downside of those monitors is slow response time which can make text/objects look "smeary" when scrolling/moving, so there's reasons to prefer an IPS panel. The pixel density of a 1080 27" panel means that at my viewing distance of about 30" things look a little pixel-y, optimum viewing distance assuming 20/20 vision for this display is about 40 inches. That was my fault for not measuring my normal viewing distance and selecting resolution based on that. I may end up returning this and getting a 1440p VA panel, but for a secondary display it might not be worth the extra price.Price point wise I think this is a great deal. They normally sit at about $150-60 but I got mine at $129.99 so if you track the price and buy when it goes on "sale" you can save a bit.Summary:Pros+Decent IPS panel+Overclockable to 75hz+Cheap+Nice OSD+Thin bezelsCons-Cheapo stand w/ no height adjust-No VESA mount so you are stuck with stand-Only HDMI and VGA, no DP-Big 1080p panel so might not be good for people who sit close to their desk

Large monitor at a great price
I bought this monitor to use with my Macbook Air when I'm at my desk. I didn't necessarily need 27" of screen but this was cheaper than the 24" model at the time so I took the plunge. I am happy with the monitor so far (it was just delivered today). The monitor has a sleek design- a very thin bezel, buttons on the bottom of the screen so they aren't visible from the front and a slick back with the Dell logo across it. The monitor works great with my laptop and has clear, crisp images. I'm sure that there are better monitors out there if you'll be using it for a lot of streaming or gaming but I'll mainly be using it for shopping, bill paying, youtube, etc so you can't beat it for that. I'm happy with my purchase.Side note- I did see a review about the "scuff" marks on the monitor when it was unpacked and mine also had these. I feel like the soft white wrap that the monitor ships in rubs against the screen and leaves the scuff or smudge marks on the screen. I used a damp paper towel and very lightly scrubbed the screen, then dried it with a towel. I had to do this several times but each time I did it, the smudge marks were less and less noticeable. After a few times the marks on the screen were completely gone! So if yours has these when you unbox it, don't stress- just lightly rub with a damp paper towel and they'll be gone in no time.
