BONANGEL Merino black Wool Socks with a red line work great for this woman.
Bonangel Merino wool socks for men work great for this woman, are soft, well-made, and keep me warm, including today's high of 8 degrees. I bought the ones with the red line and have worn them for 10 days. I have shoveled in 25 degree weather and my lower legs are warm while my thighs turned red and were quite cold. Like good wool, these are not hot to wear in the house. My skin stays at an even temperature. So while I can't guarantee the wool content other than what their label says it is, they behave like wool when I wear them. The wide elastic-y band at the top (1 1/2" when worn) doesn't dig into my leg but they stay up after 2 washings. I machine wash and line dry them because that's what I do. The weave is very close so the feel is soft yet sturdy. Maybe that helps keep the cold air out? These look like nice dress socks but they have become my go-to, daily winter socks. They came on time too. I wear a ladies size 8.5. The heel is a bit long but doesn't show with pants or boots and is comfy. I love that these are thin.

Surprisingly Soft, Warm, and Perfect for Travel Wear!
🧦 🧦 🧦 🧦 🧦 5 out of 5 socks. I was looking for good quality lightweight wool socks that could keep my feet dry without the bulk or excessive odor from wearing them super long hours while on travel — BONANGEL socks are exactly that! They’re soft, breathable, and comfortable (no itch) all day long.🧦 Warm but not heavy — keeps my feet cozy without overheating.🧦 Great fit — snug and stretchy, they don’t sag or dig in for a shoe size dress 9 D and casual 8 1/2 E2🧦 Odor control — feet stay fresher compared to cotton socks but not totally odor free🧦 Fantastic value — feels like premium socks for half the price. After several washes (cold water, turned inside out, air dry) they’ve held up really well with no shrinking or pilling. I’ll definitely be stocking up on more pairs. Highly recommend!

Great socks for the money
Nice, thin 70% merino wool socks. They quite stretchy and soft and I've used them cycling and they're comfy. I'm a 9 1/2 and the length of the foot is fine and the length is a touch long but fine. I'll keep an eye on longevity but I would certainly buy them again.

Very Comfortable and Affordable Argyle Socks
After reviewing my options on Amazon, I chose this package of 3 sets of Argyle Socks which have now been delivered. I preferred this set that is made with Merino Wool versus all cotton socks as I find them more capable of managing perspiring feet. The socks are very comfortable and fit on my feet easily. The package of three was also very reasonable for the high quality.

A good buy for 70/30 sock blend.
The only reaason these are not 5 star is that the seamless toe is not quite seamless. There is a slight bump at the end of the seam. Not enough to bother yout toes but there, nevertheless. And the inside of the sock is not really finished. Lots of loosse thread. Again, not enough to bother you while wearing, just not really finished. But these are excellent dress socks in a mix of 70% merino and 30% poly. And for the price a good buy.Addendum: very tight weave, smooth surface feel, and wash up nicely.

Replacing all my socks with these-- the sock for all occasions.
THese are the only socks I need. I am in the process of retiring all my other assorted socks-- dress socks, athletic socks, crew style, dress style, you name it. I intend to have only these socks. Here's why- Just the right thickness to work well in both business-dress shoes and sneakers.- Warmth of wool in the winter.- Comfort of moisture-wicking in the summer.- Black color is perfect for every occasion- No mis-matched or orphaned socks when they are all the same! When I bought my first set, it was for warmth during winter runs. But now that summer is full-on, I find that they are actually more comfortable than my cotton socks were, since my feet stay drier. They are about the same thickness as my old cotton crew socks, but seem to retain the softness and springiness better.I have had one or two socks develop holes due to the rigors of exercise, but no problem since I don't worry about matching them! Just toss the single damaged sock. This really simplifies things, as I have collected a large number of mismatched socks over the years. Having a single kind of sock for all purposes, solves that problem.Perhaps the only situation these aren't perfect for are: deep-cold winter workboot socks and ski socks. But for the other 99% of my sock wearing days, this is all I need.
