Love this mat. I use it in the bathroom instead of a rug. I was so tired of my bath rug constantly getting dirty, but this is easy to wipe down and it looks good with the rest of my decor. It has little rubber pads that help it stay in place.

Best shower mat ever
This is an excellent shower mat. It has a nice natural wood feel on the feet, as opposed to plastic mats. It is quite easy to keep clean -- unlike plastic mats. It looks much better than a plastic mat. After showering, simply roll it up slightly and stand it on its edge to dry in the shower stall. It dries quickly. Every now and then I take it out to dry in the sunshine.Use it in the shower. Don't use it as a bath rug on your floor. The water will go straight through it. It might float, so it might not work well for bathing or in showers that don't drain well.

Underperformed expectations: things to know before buying bamboo bath mat
The media could not be loaded. Overall nice, attractive bamboo mat for your shower and bath tub. We purchased two ZPirates 16 x 17-inch bamboo mats, one each for the shower and spa tub, which matched well the look & feel of our redone master bathroom. So this is what I wish I'd known upfront or had been better disclosed by ZPirates (and for that matter any seller of bathroom bamboo mat products): that unless you remove the mats from normal moisture that sits underneath of and accumulates around the bamboo mats from ordinary uses of shower or tub, the bamboo material will discolor and degrade. Therefore, proper usage requires, to play it safe, that the mats be dried and set aside after each use so floor water moisture has had a chance to evaporate away. The manufacturer describes these mats as having "quick dry off cups" underneath..." I'm assuming they're referring to the thin narrow strips underneath. But these do not raise the bamboo material over floor-sitting moisture.NOTE to ZPirates: You should redesign the mats with a raised open-design plastic or rubber underlayment that allows water and moisture to dissipate without one needing to set aside and dry the bamboo mats after every use. What a great idea that would be!

Small enough to stand comfortably
I am pleased with this sturdy lightweight foldable mat. My plan is to take it camping as a standing pad for an outdoor shower, but this mat would be lovely for an elegant bathroom or other rooms inside and outside.I did not want a long mat because I needed the mat to be lightweight to carry into a campground shower.Bamboo is a sustainable because it is actually a fast growing grass. As long as panda habitats are protected, I am satisfied with the almost indistructable bamboo. The individual bamboo rectangles of the mat are almost the size of dominos. The wooden pieces are held together with plastic string. I do not know how long the plastic string will last. One photo shows the texture of the bamboo rectangles.I rolled the mat and placed it into a lightweight mesh carry container which was also purchased on Amazon.I can take the mat to campground showers or keep it near my vehicle for a car camping shower or at the beach. This mat can multitask which is what I needed it to do.Another photo shows how the mat rolls and fits easily into the mesh carry container. With the mat are squeeze bottles to hold biodegradable hair and body hygiene products and a set of lightweight but huge towels also purchased on Amazon. The towels roll neatly into its own carry bag. This mat would be great for those who use dorm showers or don’t want to stand other people’s shower water. Last spring I made that mistake and have searched for a lightweight solution that could be sanitized easilywith a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol. My shower hygiene kit is almost complete. The third photo shows how my big size eleven feet and crutch fit comfortably on the mat. The crutch may be cut out of the Amazon frame, but it’s there. Because of recent ankle fractures and surgery, the mat I chose needed to be flat and stable. As an interesting observation: The black pads on the back do not grip the vinyl tile floor. The mat still slides. I purchased shower grip tape and will apply some on the pads to se if the pads will grip better. After breaking both ankle bones in one foot and three months unable to stand on that foot, I am exceedingly cautious about falls. I did not fall while camping and hiking. I fell at home. I am unsure what the black pads would grip. I already have grip tape and silicone caulk at home, so I am able to create a work-around.I am pleasantly satisfied with my purchase and would recommend to friends and family. This mat would make a nice gift too. As a side note- this bamboo mat would make a nice table mat. I know it’s not the intended purpose but capers and people with a natural gift for event planning will understand my point.Thank you for taking the time to read this review. I hope you found this review beneficial.

Nice Quality Bamboo Mat
I really like this mat so far. I love that it's made out of bamboo - sustainable material that adds to the spa-like feel of my bathroom. My shower is close to where my bathroom door swings open, so luckily this mat has just a low enough height for my door to pass over the mat without catching or getting stuck. The mat itself has little plastic non-slip rectangles here and there over the bottom of the mat's surface. I feel comfortable stepping onto the mat after my shower and I feel pretty confident that it won't slide or move unless you push on it hard. The first time I used the mat, I was taking a shower before bed. I was hoping that the mat would not harbor water underneath of it, since that could lead to mold. However the next afternoon, I lifted the mat up and there was definitely still wetness trapped underneath. That's why the one thing I would recommend doing is to flip the mat upside down over the edge of the tub after you're finished to allow any excess water underneath to dry out. You probably don't need to do this every day, but on a regular basis I think it could help the mat last a long time, since it seems like good quality material. Great product! To the sellers, love the adorable high-five puppy in your email ;)

It’s okay
Cute mat, but does catch a lot of debris and dirt under it, so I recommend cleaning it at least once a week. It does not suction to the ground and does not catch any water. This should be used as like a decor mat or a mat for near your sink area. It’s a pretty decent size, not super large but not too small.

Cool Design
Got this for my Infrared Sauna so my sodden sweat-soaked towels would not stain the floor. Fits like a Glove.
