Q: How long before it can be driven over when being used for driveway crack repair?

You can begin to drive over the Slab once it has skinned over and begun to recede below the surface. Depending on weather and bead size, that is between 2 and 5 days. If the temps are cooler (below 60°) and/or the humidity is higher (above 50%), it will take longer to skin over and cure. Placing some plywood over the crack for a few days should allow it to continue to cure and protect it from foot and car traffic. Q: How long does this have to dry before painting a primer over it?

The Slab will need 24 - 48 hours to cure prior to painting with a water-based primer. This cure time will depend largely on the size of the bead of caulk, temperature and relative humidity levels. Q: Does this penetrate the crack to form a full slab depth repair, or just a surface repair?

This product is a latex based caulk, the recommended joint thickness is 1/4" to 1/2" and should be used with proper joint construction using backer rod. It does not penetrate into the concrete, but adheres to the slab on each side of the crack and stretches with the movement of the slab. The texture and color will match most concrete very closely. Q: I see this should be used for horizontal cracks, but will it work for vertical? I have a small 6" vertical foundation crack inside my garage.

Slab will work for vertical cracks. Do not apply any deeper than 1/2" (in most cases, 1/4" - 3/8" will be sufficient) and make sure the surface is clean, free of any debris, and dry before caulking.
