Big Improvement!
This is the second set of Warlord Games figures I ordered. The first set was poorly sculpted, and I was quite disappointed, and said so in my review. This set is much better. I'm happy and I'm glad I gave them a second chance.The set contains 20 plastic figures and 4 metal. There are 4 sprues of plastic parts. Each sprue contains 5 different figures in a marching pose with weapon shouldered, 5 backpacks, and 7 heads. One of the heads is bare, all of the others wear soft forage caps. All four sprues are identical. By mixing the heads you can produce 20 different figures. The four metal figures are for your 'command stand'. The full color guide sheet that comes with the set has standards on one side and a history and suggestions for construction. It mentions using heads with Belgic shakos or the stovepipe shako to produce additional KGL regiments. It would have been nice had the sprues contained those heads. As a suggestion to Warlord Games maybe they will release a set of heads for that simple conversion. As it stands you would have to purchase a British Waterloo infantry Rgmt. for the Belgic Shakos or a Peninsular Regiment for the stovepipes. Then what do you do with the British bodies without heads?Greatly pleased with this Regiment. Amazon handled the shipping. Not so happy here. It was a prime purchase, but was slated for 5 day delivery schedule. Late on the 5th day they notified me it would be 6 or 7 days. It did arrive in 6.
