was skeptical at first, but this convertible picnic table that transforms into a bench completely exceeded my expectations. It’s not just a clever concept — it’s genuinely well-executed. Both the bench and table modes feel solid, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed.Right out of the box, the materials felt high quality — not flimsy or cheap like some other outdoor furniture I’ve come across. Assembly took me about an hour, and I wouldn’t consider myself particularly handy. The instructions were straightforward, and the build process was smooth. Someone more experienced could probably get it done even faster.Once assembled and fully tightened, it’s impressively sturdy. It easily handles multiple people without wobbling or flexing, and it’s just as functional as a bench as it is as a table. It’s also surprisingly stylish. A lot of picnic tables can look bulky or poorly finished, but this one has a clean, well-crafted look that really elevates any outdoor space.For the quality, function, and price — I honestly think it’s a steal. Highly recommend to anyone looking for versatile outdoor furniture that doesn’t compromise on design or durability

We purchased two of these benches so that we could have a full picnic table.Pros:- sturdy and easily held six adults at once on each side ( three on each bench)- Nice looking wood-like material- easy to spray down with a hose and clean- fairly simple to assemble- Lifetime Products has great customer service based out of Utah- Much nicer than the Costco version of these benches which are made out of molded plastic. If you are on a budget and don't care about the look as much, you can get the Costco ones on sale for $79.99 regularly priced $99.99.Cons:- arrived in very dented boxes and slightly damaged metal frame (Amazon and Lifetime Products customer service helped with this, and we were provided with a discount and a bottle of paint to repair the damage)- A rod was missing from one of our benches, so we could not assemble it at all (again, customer service helped out and Lifetime Products shipped the missing part which arrived three days later)- a bit hot in the sunI definitely recommend these benches, but keep in mind that they may arrive slightly damaged since they are shipped in the original box without an extra layer around them like many other Amazon shipments.

We've been very pleased with this product. Assembly wasn't hard. There were a few pieces that didn't fit perfectly together and had to be pushed and the last few screws were hard to reach, but it still didn't take too long. It seems pretty solid and looks nice. It does not feel in danger of tipping, even with kids monkeying around on it. We haven't jumped around on the bench, but we've had several large adults sitting on it at once without a groan. The back flips to a table and back to a bench very easily. My only slight complaint is that the slats are very slightly warped. You can't tell at all by looking, but when it rains, a little water pools in one spot. Over time I could imagine this causing a problem so I brush it off. Still, it's a great addition to our small patio for a good price.

This is a pretty awesome bench, it is easier to assemble if you follow the video instructions. We had to get a little creative with the assembly because our product arrived damaged. We never got to writing the review as soon as we received it because of the holidays and busy beginning of the year. One of the bars was bent at the end so we had to use the opposite end to slide some pieces in and forego the end nub that protects the hole. This has caused some water to enter that end and rust. I noticed rust on other areas of the bench as well but not incredibly noticeable. The colors for the brown bench are more of dark brown trim and wooden looking bench. comfortable and has resisted weather well here in Florida. Love it for family gatherings, sitting outside to have breakfast while listening to the birds and for gardening. Overall a pretty affordable product for what it does.
