Children's Past Lives: How Past Life Memories Affect Your Child
R**A
Past lives are a phenomenon. Not a belief.
"Never theorize until you have all the facts. Or, you will twist the facts to suit your theories rather than form theories based on the facts." – Sherlock HolmesThe lines above succinctly describe how scientists form theories after thorough research. And Carol Bowman's brilliant book highlights the same with carefully gathered statistics and data on thousands of spontaneous past life memories in very young children.Unfortunately, many people, including conventional psychologists and well-learned scientists, still discredit past lives even when the evidence is overwhelmingly strong. So if your mind has just been exposed to this astonishing phenomenon, please read this book and educate yourself.Ignorance is never sexy.It wasn't during Galileo's time when the Church believed the Earth was at the center of the Universe, and it definitely isn't now.

Intriguing book - with a bad print
First of all, I would like to say that it's an extremely fascinating book for someone who is actually baffled by the question, "Is this all that life is for...eat, sleep, earn, procreate and die?" It actually answers questions we didn't even know we should be asking. It explains our recurring dreams, things kids say, and touches very beautifully on the topic of reincarnation - without offending any religion. The only problem is this book is being sold as 'mass paperback' which makes the printing horrible.

Book is a narcissistic update on one's own achievements and attaches other writers stories
The author traces her initiation into past life hypnosis by using a hypnotist on herself and her children and later graduates into an avid reader. She has written almost 75-80 percent of other writers books and cases and how she spoke at an Oprah show later etc. The focus is too narcissistic and dialogues are as if the world revolves around her and her kids ,their experiences etc. There is no variety,no experience and seems too amateur for her own good. The book got too repetitive in references, her narcissism and her children. Found it average. Cannot read beyond one read. Too shallow for someone supposed to be spiritually better.

Interesting book
Interesting book. Years ago I read some of the Brian Weiss books and was already impressed. In this book it is not only that the author especially focusses on children, but als it is kind of a story how she unfolds in the pursuing of this topic. How she grows and expands and explores.Really quite interesting and astonishing. When my niece was very small she burst out sometimes with remarks like that, but we never went deeper into it. Who knows, what we could have discovered.Life is so much more than what most people, especially in the West ( I am from there, so I can tell) think it is. Here in India reincarnation is considered a fact, so no wonder that researchers find more examples and more detailed ones in Asia.I still haven't finished the book, but I guess it will continue in the same style and I am enjoying reading it.

Great book
For those who are first readers on reincarnation or you are interested in it, this book is particularly important to understandWhy we, adults may never experience, what children can...Can not give any spoilers.... Literature worthwhile reading if you consider yourself open mindedI found it quite refreshing...Different points of view shouldn’t never stop us to explore

I loved it
This book has a very "American" style of storytelling -entertainingly written and easy to read. The references and recommended books provide a good starting point for learning about regression. I would certainly recommend it.

Great book of its kind
At last a book that is not interested in data and statistics (though it has plenty) but is more interested in the usefulness of the phenomena whether it is 'real' or not. Healing is at the forefront of this book and it has already helped me help others to have happier lives. Most importantly, the children AND the adults have benefitted. Grateful!
