This umbrella doesn't have any spring assist for opening. I knew that when I bought it. That makes it lighter and smaller. It works great and is just large enough when opened

I have 2 of these - the first one lasted a long time so I ordered a second one. Small umbrellas can sometimes be difficult to put up/down and break easily but not this one. And it’s small enough to fit in a very small bag or pocket.

I have purchased several of these umbrellas through the years. It's a pretty basic umbrella, no bells and whistles, but the size is why I like it so much. It's really small and easily fits in a purse or backpack. It's definitely a one-person umbrella, you're not going to be able to share it with anyone, which is why I've purchased several. I got one for each of my family members so they can each carry their own.

I bought this thing a month ago or so, and it works quite well. It's easy to fold & unfold, it only bends the wrong way in high winds, and the design I got is quite cute! I carry it around in my handbag, everywhere I go. My old handbag umbrella's handle would always poke out the top of the bag, so I really appreciate the convenience of this little number.

Too heavy!! ( but small)

This umbrella was ordered at the last minute as I looked at the rainy weather forecast in Italy's Florence and Tuscany for October 2024. It arrived super fast and was just the thing to keep us dry as we literally walked for days seeing Florence, Siena, Pienza, and more. While it looks small, it amply covered both of us and, boy, were we glad we had it!

The first time using the umbrella it broke when trying to close it. The plastic parts are extremely thin and flimsy.Very surprised since Totes is usually a reliable name. It's out of the return window now so it looks like I'm stuck with it.

I have used Totes umbrellas for years and trust the brand. My spouse and I needed new mini-umbrellas for his small backpack and my shoulder purse for an upcoming overseas vacation. Totes seems to be the only well-known brand that manufactures an umbrella this small. Due to its size and weight, this is a manual umbrella. It opens and closes without any problem. As I trust the Totes brand, this is one less packing item to research and acquire before our trip.
